Position Overview:
The Senior Graphic Designer is a hands-on creative leader responsible for defining and executing the visual identity of our product line content across eCommerce and Wholesale channels blending creative design with marketing strategy.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, Product, this role sits at the intersection of brand storytelling, digital marketing, and product presentation. You’ll manage a Graphic Designer and serve as the creative authority on all product content — from the imagery that drives online conversion to the sell sheets and packaging that move product through wholesale partners.
This is a role best suited for someone who thinks strategically, executes precisely, and cares deeply about the mission behind the work.
Key Responsibilities:
Creative Leadership & Strategy
• Own the creative vision for all product content across eCommerce and Wholesale, ensuring brand consistency and mission alignment at every touchpoint.
• Owns creative direction across all digital channels: paid social (Meta, TikTok), Amazon,

• Act as the operational infrastructure behind the creative. Build and maintain a creative asset library and production workflow, including naming conventions, version control, delivery specs by platform.
• Partner with the Managing Director, Product to translate business goals into compelling visual narratives.
• Establish and maintain brand guidelines for product content, photography direction, and digital design standards.
• Stay ahead of digital design trends, platform algorithm changes, and wholesale presentation best practices.
eCommerce Content
• Oversee the creation of all product listing assets including primary images, lifestyle photography, infographics, and A+ / enhanced content.
• Optimize visual content for conversion across owned DTC channels and third-party platforms (e.g., Amazon, retail partner portals).
• Collaborate with the eCommerce and marketing teams to develop campaign creative, landing pages, and promotional assets.
• Analyze content performance data and iterate on creative strategy accordingly.
• Manage multiple concurrent production cycles without dropping handoffs. Product launches, seasonal campaigns, evergreen content, and paid creative tests all run in parallel.
Wholesale Content
• Develop and maintain a suite of wholesale-facing materials including line sheets, sell sheets, trade show assets, and retail display concepts.
• Ensure product photography and specifications meet the requirements of key wholesale partners and retail buyers.
• Support seasonal product launches with tailored wholesale creative packages.
Team Management
• Directly manage and mentor the Graphic Designer, providing clear briefs, constructive feedback, and professional development support.
• Build and manage a freelance network (photographers, videographers, editors, etc) as needed for campaign productions.
• Prioritize and manage the creative workload across projects, balancing quality with speed-to-market.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Sales teams to ensure creative assets are aligned with product roadmaps and go-to-market timelines.
• Partner with the eCommerce team on UX/UI creative decisions that support the online shopping experience.
• Brief and manage external agencies or production vendors when applicable.
• Partner directly with paid media to close the feedback loop.
• Direct internal creators and any external agency or freelance talent. Clear briefing, sharp feedback, no ambiguity about what good looks like.

Qualifications:
Required
• Minimum 5 years of experience in digital creative, brand design, or content production, with at least 2 years in a management or lead role.
• Demonstrated experience creating product content for eCommerce platforms (DTC and/or marketplace).
• Strong portfolio showcasing product photography direction, digital design, and brand-consistent visual storytelling.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with Figma or similar tools.
• Experience briefing and directing photographers, videographers, or other creative vendors.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Knows the difference between a scroll-stopping hook frame and a pretty image that converts nobody.
• Brand standards don’t drift on your watch.
• You’re not a passenger on the analytics side. You read performance data (ie. CTR, hook rate, thumb-stop, ROAS by creative) and act on it.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects) and Figma. Working fluency in generative AI tools (Midjourney, Firefly, or equivalent) is not optional. PXM software is a plus.
• You understand the authenticity of mission-first content architecture.
Preferred
• Background in consumer goods, sustainability, outdoor, or lifestyle brands.
• Experience with Shopify or similar eCommerce platforms.
• Familiarity with retail buyer presentation formats and wholesale portal requirements.
• Passion for ocean conservation or environmental causes.
