Short-Form Video Editor Contractor– (Remote)
Location: Remote
Type: Freelance / Monthly Retainer
Volume: Approximately 60 short-form edits per month

About the role
We’re looking for an experienced short-form video editor to join our content team on an ongoing monthly retainer.
The role will involve editing approximately 60 short-form videos per month (around 2 per day) for social media. We’re looking for someone who can work quickly while maintaining a high standard of editing and visual quality. The successful candidate will be responsible for turning clear briefs into polished, engaging content that supports audience growth.

Key Responsibilities
• Edit all video content based on briefs provided by the Personal Brand Strategist.
• Create engaging short-form and long-form content for platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other relevant channels.
• Apply and maintain the established editing style, visual identity, and content standards.
• Add captions, graphics, transitions, sound design, music, and other production elements where required.
• Organise and manage video assets, project files, and content libraries.
• Deliver content efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality and attention to detail.
• Work collaboratively with the founder to continuously improve content performance and production processes.
We particularly value editors who understand social-first editing and retention, rather than simply cutting footage together.

Requirements
• Proven experience editing social media and digital content.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent editing software.
• Our source footage is stored in iCloud Drive, so you MUST be comfortable working DIRECTLY from a shared iCloud Drive workflow.
• Experience creating high-performing short-form content.
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, hooks, audience retention, and platform-specific editing techniques.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Ability to work independently while following clear creative direction.
• Strong communication skills and responsiveness in a remote environment.
• Reliable internet connection and professional home-working setup
