About the Role
REMBOX Philippines is looking for a skilled and motivated Electrical Power Supply Design Engineer. You will design internal and external power supply systems and produce complete electrical drawings and documentation for projects of various scales, collaborating with international project teams.
This is a technically focused engineering role for someone with a strong background in electrical power supply engineering, who is detail-oriented, collaborative, and driven to grow professionally within a world-class international company.
Key Responsibilities
External Power Supply Systems
Design external power supply infrastructure, including high and medium voltage networks, substations, transformer connections, and cable routing.
Design external distribution systems, including overhead lines, underground cable networks, switching stations, and metering points.
Produce drawings and documentation for external electrical networks: plans, cable routing layouts, schematic diagrams, and connection details.
Internal Power Supply Systems
Design internal low voltage distribution systems: main distribution boards, sub-distribution panels, busbar trunking, and cable distribution.
Design internal electrical systems for buildings: lighting, power outlets, socket layouts, emergency lighting, and UPS systems.
Design emergency and standby power systems: generator connections, automatic transfer switches, and critical load distribution.
Design earthing and lightning protection systems.
Produce internal electrical drawings: floor plans, riser diagrams, single-line diagrams, load calculations, and cable schedules.
Documentation & Coordination
Produce complete electrical engineering drawings and documentation using AutoCAD, including plans, schematics, single-line diagrams, sections, details, and specifications.
Develop and maintain electrical BIM models in Autodesk Revit where required, adhering to project BIM standards.
Create electrical designs for projects of various scales and typologies, including residential complexes, public buildings, office developments, industrial, and infrastructure.
Coordinate electrical designs with architectural, structural, mechanical, and plumbing disciplines to resolve clashes and ensure integration.
Ensure all designs comply with applicable international codes, standards, and project specifications.
Update documentation based on design revisions, coordination outcomes, and client feedback.
Participate in technical coordination meetings and contribute to project delivery.
We are looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Education & Experience
Higher technical education in Electrical Engineering or Power Supply Engineering.
Proven professional experience designing external and/or internal electrical power supply systems.
Experience producing complete electrical engineering drawings and documentation using AutoCAD.
Skills & Competencies — Must-Have
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD for electrical engineering drawing and documentation.
Solid understanding of external power supply system design (HV/MV networks, substations, cable routing, transformer connections).
Solid understanding of internal power supply system design (LV distribution, panels, lighting, power, emergency systems).
Ability to produce engineering drawings (plans, schematics, single-line diagrams, cable schedules, load calculations).
Understanding of electrical load analysis, short-circuit calculations, and protection coordination.
Strong attention to detail and diligence in completing assigned tasks accurately.
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Self-motivated with a genuine drive for professional growth.
Ability to manage workload and meet project deadlines independently.
Skills & Competencies — Strong Advantage
Experience with Autodesk Revit for MEP/electrical BIM modeling.
Familiarity with BIM coordination workflows and clash detection across disciplines.
Experience working on international projects or with international electrical design standards (IEC, NEC, Israeli standards).
Experience coordinating electrical designs with architects, structural engineers, and other MEP disciplines.
Experience with electrical design software for load calculations or network analysis.
Nice-to-Have
Experience with fire alarm systems, structured cabling, or building automation systems (BAS/BMS).
Background in renewable energy systems or EV charging infrastructure design.
Experience working in an international or remote team environment.
Familiarity with Israeli or US electrical design standards.
