JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a skilled Video Editor to join our team on a part-time basis, with the goal of growing into a full-time role for the right person.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Editing short-form and long-form video content using Adobe Premiere Pro 2026
- Color grading footage to a polished, professional, and cinematic standard
- Adding SFX and light VFX to enhance storytelling
- Animating text and motion graphics, including kinetic typography, lower thirds, and similar elements
- Structuring footage into compelling narratives. You understand pacing, rhythm, composition, and storytelling, rather than simply cutting clips together
- Collaborating closely with our creative team on concepts, direction, and revisions
- Producing approximately 5–8 reels per day, with videos typically ranging from 30 seconds to 8 minutes, depending on the project and complexity

What We’re Looking For
- Strong, demonstrated experience with Adobe Premiere Pro 2026
- Current access to and proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro 2026 is required. Applicants using older versions may not be considered
- After Effects experience is a strong advantage
- A confident eye for color grading
- Experience with sound design, SFX, and basic VFX
- Ability to animate text and create clean, engaging motion graphics
- A genuine sense of storytelling. You know how to build a compelling video, not just trim and assemble clips
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken, as you’ll communicate directly with our team and, at times, clients. Use the word “Yellow” in the subject line to submit your application.
- A strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating your range, particularly in brand content, personal-brand content, and social media videos
- Reliable, deadline-driven, and comfortable contributing creative ideas rather than simply following instructions
- Experience working with Slack, ---------- , and ---------- is a plus. We can provide training if you haven’t used these platforms before
