Finance & Investment Analyst
Lending | Investment Analysis | Information Memorandums | Financial Reporting

We are looking for an experienced **Finance & Investment Analyst** to join our team on a remote, part-time basis.

This is not a basic bookkeeping or administration role. We are looking for someone with a **strong, broad understanding of lending, banking, finance and investment analysis** who can take financial and commercial information and turn it into professional, investor-ready material.

The successful applicant will work closely with senior management across a range of lending, investment and commercial projects.

## Key Responsibilities

Your work may include:

* Preparing professional **Information Memorandums (IMs)** for lending and investment opportunities
* Analysing businesses, projects and potential investments
* Preparing financial summaries, management reports and investment reports
* Researching and identifying potential **investment targets**
* Researching potential investors, lenders and funding sources
* Preparing investor and lender presentation material
* Reviewing financial information and identifying key commercial issues
* Preparing financial models, tables, charts and supporting analysis
* Assisting with loan and finance submissions
* Conducting industry, company and investment research
* Preparing clear diagrams, transaction structures and financial presentations
* Supporting management with ad-hoc finance, investment and commercial projects

## About You

We are particularly interested in candidates who have previously worked in:

* Banking
* Commercial lending
* Corporate finance
* Investment banking
* Private equity or investment analysis
* Business advisory
* Credit analysis
* Financial analysis
* Funds management
* Commercial finance or similar roles

You do **not** necessarily need to have held exactly the same job title before.

If you have worked in a bank, finance company, investment firm, advisory practice or similar environment and understand how commercial lending and investment transactions are put together, we would like to hear from you.

You should be confident with:

* Commercial lending and finance concepts
* Financial statement analysis
* Investment analysis
* Preparing Information Memorandums
* Financial and management reporting
* Microsoft Excel
* Microsoft Word
* PowerPoint / presentation preparation
* Internet and company research
* Preparing professional written reports
* Presenting complex financial information clearly

Strong written English and attention to detail are essential.

Experience preparing **financial models, investment papers, credit submissions, investor presentations or lender submissions** will be highly regarded.

## Hours

This is a remote position of approximately **20–30 hours per week**, with the potential for additional hours.

You must be able to be **online and readily available during normal Australian business hours** for communication with our team.

There is potentially a significant amount of ongoing work for the right person.
Remuneration

Indicative remuneration is approximately **AUD 15–$20 per hour**, depending on experience and capability.

Our priority is finding the right person rather than simply finding the lowest-cost applicant.
