JOB DESCRIPTION
QA & Development Support Specialist — Vibe Coding
Platforms
About the Role
Our client builds and ships products using AI-assisted “vibe coding” platforms — currently
Lovable, with more platforms likely to follow. We're looking for a hands-on Virtual Assistant
who can go beyond surface-level testing: someone who understands what's actually
happening under the hood of these AI-generated builds, can catch bugs before users do, and
can open the code and fix it directly when something breaks.
This is not a general VA role. It's for someone who is comfortable clicking through an app AND
comfortable in a codebase — reading components, tracing a bug to its source, and shipping a
fix without needing a developer to hold their hand.
What You'll Be Doing
• Perform structured QA on apps built in Lovable (and future vibe coding platforms):
functional testing, edge cases, responsive/mobile checks, cross-browser checks.
• Reproduce bugs, document them clearly (steps, expected vs. actual, screenshots/screen
recordings), and track them to resolution.
• Open the underlying codebase, understand what the AI generated, and fix bugs directly —
front-end, back-end, or database/config level as needed.
• Review AI-generated code for quality issues before they become problems: broken logic,
security gaps, messy state management, unnecessary complexity.
• Test integrations (auth, payments, APIs, database/Supabase-style backends) end-to-end,
not just the UI layer.
• Flag when a bug is a platform limitation vs. something fixable in code, and recommend the
right approach.
• Keep a lightweight QA log/tracker per project so issues and fixes are visible to the client.
• Work across multiple concurrent projects as the client's product portfolio grows beyond
the current Lovable build.
What We're Looking For
Must-Haves
• Hands-on experience with at least one AI/vibe coding platform (Lovable, Bolt, Replit Agent,
Cursor, v0, or similar) — either building on it or fixing what it produces.
• Solid working knowledge of the underlying stack these platforms generate: React/Next.js,
JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS, and typically Supabase or a similar backend-as-a-service.
• Comfortable reading someone else's (or an AI's) code, not just writing your own from
scratch.
• Strong QA instincts: methodical, detail-obsessed, thinks in edge cases rather than just
“does it load.”
• Can debug independently — reads error logs, uses browser dev tools, isolates root cause
before asking for help.
• Clear written communication in English — bug reports and status updates need to be
understandable without a call.
• Reliable availability and responsiveness; this role supports active, moving projects.
Nice-to-Haves
• Experience with Supabase, Firebase, or similar (auth, database, storage, edge functions).
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub for version control and code review.
• Exposure to API integrations (Stripe, third-party SaaS APIs, webhooks).
• Background in software QA/testing methodology (test cases, regression testing, bug
tracking tools like Jira/Linear/ClickUp).
• Basic understanding of security and performance basics (input validation, avoiding
exposed keys, load times).
Tools You'll Likely Use
• Lovable (primary platform currently in use)
• Browser dev tools, and/or an IDE (VS Code) for direct code edits
• Supabase or equivalent backend dashboard
• GitHub for version history
• [Project management / bug tracking tool — to be confirmed]
How to Apply
Please submit:
1. Updated CV and Introduction Video
2. Active Whatsapp Number
3. A short summary of your experience with vibe coding platforms (which ones, what you
built or fixed).
4. 1–2 examples of bugs you've diagnosed and fixed in an AI-generated or unfamiliar
codebase (links, write-ups, or before/after descriptions welcome).
5. Earliest availability to start
