When someone calls a family law firm, it is usually one of the worst weeks of their life. You are the first person they talk to. That call d
We are looking for someone who is genuinely good at that moment. Warm, organized, unflappable, and fast on the follow-up. *Bonus if you have used Lawmatics or a similar crm.*
About us
Edwards Family Law is a Georgia family law firm handling divorce, custody, support, and Guardian ad Litem work. We are small, we move quickly, and we care a lot about how clients are treated from the very first contact. Our team runs lean, which means your work is visible and your judgment matters.
What you will actually do
• Answer incoming calls, web leads, and referral inquiries, usually within minutes, not hours
• Listen. Ask good questions. Get the facts we need without making the caller feel processed
• Screen potential clients against our case criteria and run conflict checks
• Schedule consultations and make sure people actually show up (reminders, confirmations, rescheduling)
• Keep the CRM immaculate: every lead logged, every note current, every follow-up scheduled
• Send engagement letters and fee agreements, track signatures, and hand off cleanly to the legal team
• Follow up with leads who did not book, respectfully and persistently
• Track intake numbers and tell us what you are seeing: where leads come from, where they stall, what we should change
Who this is for
• 2+ years in intake, client services, sales, admissions, patient coordination, or another role where you talked to people in stressful situations all day
• You can hear someone cry on the phone and stay steady and useful
• You are ridiculously organized. Nothing falls through. Nothing sits in a folder for three days
• You write clean, professional
• You are comfortable talking about money, because you will be quoting retainers
• You can work independently without someone checking on you at 2:00 p.m.
• Reliable high-speed internet and a private, quiet workspace (confidentiality is not optional here)
Nice to have: family law or legal experience, CRM/practice management software experience, Spanish fluency.
Not required: a paralegal certificate or a law degree.
What we offer
• Fully remote, with a real team you actually talk to
• Direct access to the attorney; no layers of bureaucracy
• Training on family law intake and Georgia practice specifics
• Work that matters. You will help people take the first step out of a hard situation
How to apply
Send your resume and a short note to this site. In the note, tell us about a time you handled an upset or emotional person and what you did. Two paragraphs is plenty. We read every one.
