JOB OVERVIEW

I'm looking for a YouTube Shorts / TikTok / Instagram Editor that is skilled in premiere pro and after effects. You need to have knowledge on what gets people to watch (crafting hooks, retention and storytelling). The content will be (testing interesting products, gadgets, trends, challenges), there will be a face on the channel.

What You'll Do and Need
* Turn raw footage into a engaging short
* Add motion graphics, visual effects, transitions, music, sound effects, captions
* Create strong visual hooks
* Quick Turn (expect 3-7 shorts per week)
* Help me make the video funny
* Add risers and stingers
* Be Fluent in English to understand jokes and pop culture
* Must be detailed and take instruction well, sometimes tighter deadlines.
* A couple of years of editing experience
* Understand Current Trends and Memes, especially on tiktok
* being creative with limited footage

Nice To Have
* some experience with ai video and image generation
* Long form editing capability (would be later)
* familiar with personality based content on youtube or worked with other youtubers
* be familiar with classic TV shows like spongebob and family guy
* be familiar with recent movies and tv as well

We will start with $20-$30 per short for some paid trial edits. If you have the editing style I am looking for it can develop into full time work ($400 - $700 depending on skill leve). Please send me any videos you have edited for other creators as examples of what you can do and your style of editing. Some examples of youtubers and tiktokers you frequently watch. Then i will send you a google drive link so we can do a test edit.
