Senior Application Developer – AI-Enabled Development

About the Role

We’re looking for a highly capable Senior Application Developer to design and deliver business applications using modern development technologies and AI-assisted development tools.

This is not a traditional coding role. We need someone who can understand a business objective, see the big picture, determine what should be built, and architect the right solution. You’ll use tools such as Claude Code and Codex to accelerate development while owning the decisions that determine whether an application is secure, maintainable, practical, and valuable to the business.

What You’ll Do
• Translate business requirements into well-designed software solutions.
• Own application architecture and technical direction from concept through production.
• Use Claude Code and Codex a core part of the development process.
• Review AI-generated implementations and make sound decisions around architecture, complexity, security, and maintainability.
• Design full-stack applications using technologies such as Node.js, Python, .NET, APIs, databases, and modern web frameworks.
• Design and deploy applications using AWS infrastructure and services.
• Manage development workflows using GitHub, including source control, pull requests, releases, and CI/CD.
• Integrate applications with APIs, SaaS platforms, and third-party services.
• Apply appropriate application security practices, including authentication, authorization, secrets management, data protection, and API security.
• Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and make practical decisions about refactoring, rebuilding, or improving systems.
• Balance business value, development speed, security, cost, and long-term maintainability.

What You Bring – Areas of Experience
• 3+ years of enterprise software development, software engineering, or application architecture experience.
• Strong full-stack understanding across frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with Node.js/TypeScript, Python, .NET/C#, or similar modern development technologies.
• Strong working knowledge of GitHub, modern source-control practices, and CI/CD workflows.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or similar.
• Solid understanding of application security and secure development practices.
• Ability to understand unfamiliar code and quickly evaluate architecture, quality, risk, and maintainability.
• Strong business judgment and the ability to turn an objective into a practical technical solution.
• Excellent English communication skills—both written and spoken.
• A strong sense of ownership, professionalism, and accountability.

Schedule
• Full-time role supporting U.S. hours (EST).
• Core hours: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM EST
• Options for flexibility on hours on a case-by-case basis
