AI Systems & Automation Specialist

We are looking for a highly capable AI Systems & Automation Specialist who can help us bring AI into different areas of our furniture business.

Showhome Furniture is a furniture store based in Calgary, Alberta. We are looking for someone who does more than simply use ChatGPT. We want someone who can **design, build, connect, and improve AI-powered systems that make our business faster, smarter, and more efficient.**

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys figuring out how a business operates, identifying repetitive or inefficient processes, and then building practical AI solutions to improve them.

## What You Will Be Doing

You will work with our team to identify areas where AI and automation can improve our day-to-day operations.

Your responsibilities may include:

* Building custom AI assistants and internal AI tools
* Creating AI-powered workflows for different departments
* Automating repetitive administrative tasks
* Connecting AI tools with our existing software and platforms
* Building systems using APIs, webhooks, and automation platforms
* Creating AI systems for customer inquiries and customer service
* Developing AI tools to help our sales team
* Automating lead follow-up and lead qualification
* Building AI-powered systems for marketing and content creation
* Improving our SEO, social media, advertising, and content workflows with AI
* Creating systems that can analyze business data and produce useful reports
* Automating product information, descriptions, categorization, and merchandising workflows
* Creating internal knowledge bases that employees can search using AI
* Finding opportunities where AI can save employees time
* Testing new AI tools and determining whether they are useful for our business
* Documenting the systems you build so our team can understand and maintain them
* Monitoring existing automations and improving them over time

We especially value someone who can say:

That is the mindset we are looking for.

## Important

We are **not** looking for someone whose only AI experience is writing prompts in ChatGPT.

Using ChatGPT is useful, but this role requires someone who understands how to **build AI into actual business processes.**

You should be comfortable working with automation tools, integrations, APIs, and AI systems.

## Experience With Retail or E-Commerce Is a Plus

Furniture industry experience is **not required**.
