JOB OVERVIEW

Remote | Part-Time: 15–20 hours/week

We are looking for a Community Operations Virtual Assistant to help manage:

• Facebook Group with 80,000+ members
• Reddit community with 12,000+ members

Your role is to keep the communities clean, well-organized, and highly automated, while directing members to useful guides and resources.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build and improve Reddit AutoModerator rules
• Use keywords, regex, karma/account-age filters, and other tools to manage spam, solicitation, trolling, and abusive content
• Manage the Reddit moderation queue and improve false-positive rules
• Maintain and improve Facebook Admin Assist
• Moderate Facebook and Reddit consistently
• Create and maintain Reddit Wiki pages and Facebook Guides
• Direct members to relevant resources instead of providing individualized advice
• Identify recurring questions that should become new guides or resources
• Publish and repurpose client approval and success stories
• Maintain subreddit rules, flairs, pinned posts, and community resources
• Track basic community growth, reach, top-performing content, and moderation trends

IDEAL CANDIDATE

Strong Reddit experience is especially important.

Experience with the following is preferred:

• Reddit AutoModerator
• YAML and regex
• Reddit moderation tools
• Facebook Groups and Admin Assist
• Community moderation
• Spam/scam detection
• Content publishing
• Basic analytics

You should have excellent written English, strong judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Canadian immigration knowledge is not required.

HOURS

15–20 hours/week initially, with potential for additional hours.
