JOB OVERVIEW

I run a social media brand in the animal / pet space:

TikTok (English): 500,000+ followers
TikTok (German): 100,000+ followers
YouTube: 300,000+ subscribers

The channels are already growing. I don't need someone to build an audience from zero. I need someone to keep feeding it with good content, consistently, without me having to think about it.

What you will do every day:

Find video ideas. Research the niche, watch what is performing, spot trends early, and bring ideas that have a real chance of popping off.
Source the clips. Find the footage that fits the idea.
Write and record the voiceover (or generate it with AI, depending on the format).
Edit the video. Simple editing: cuts, captions, sound design, hook on screen. Nothing cinematic.
Post and track. Log what performed, what flopped, and why.

Volume: 1 to 2 videos per day. That's it.

This is not a huge workload. But it has to be good, and it has to be consistent.

WHO I AM LOOKING FOR

The editing part is the easy part. Plenty of people can cut a video. What I actually need is someone who understands short form content.

You should be able to answer questions like:

Why did this video get 2M views and the almost identical one get 4K?
What makes a hook stop the scroll in the first 1.5 seconds?
What is trending right now in this niche and how do we get on it before it dies?

Requirements:

Proven experience editing short form video (TikTok, Reels, Shorts)
You genuinely watch and understand TikTok. You know the formats, the sounds, the trends, the pacing.
Strong understanding of hooks, retention, and why people keep watching
Clear spoken and written English
Able to work independently and hit a daily output without being chased
Reliable internet and a computer that can handle editing
You track your own numbers and adjust based on data, not vibes
You know how to source animal footage properly: stock libraries, licensed clips, creators who give permission. Not just ripping other people's videos.

Nice to have:

Existing knowledge of the animal / pet content world (the big accounts, the recurring formats, the sounds)
Experience with faceless / compilation style channels
Experience with AI tools (voice generation, scripting, clip sourcing)
Experience with YouTube Shorts and long form repurposing
Understanding of monetization (Creator Fund, RPM, affiliate, brand deals)
WHY THIS JOB IS DIFFERENT
The audience already exists. Your work gets seen from day one.
Base salary + a percentage of what the channels earn. If the channels grow, you earn more. I want you to care about the numbers.
Long term role. I am not looking for a one month gig. I want someone who becomes the person running these channels.
Freedom on ideas. If you have a format you think will work, we test it.
