JOB OVERVIEW

Job Title: Full-Time Video Editor for Automotive Brand (Short-Form Reels/TikTok) — $5–8/hr

Job Type: Full-Time, 40 hours/week

Salary: depending on experience and test results

Job Description:

We Reject Paint (WRP) is a premium automotive customization shop in New York City. We work on exotic and luxury vehicles — Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Porsches — doing paint protection film, window tint, and vehicle wraps. Our content shows these builds to hundreds of thousands of viewers on Instagram and TikTok, and we're hiring a full-time editor to own that pipeline.

What you'll do:

Edit short-form vertical videos (Reels/TikTok) from raw shop footage we upload daily to Google Drive
Cut clips with strong hooks in the first 2 seconds — retention is everything
Add captions/subtitles, sound design, music synced to trends, and clean pacing
Deliver 1–2 finished videos per day once you're up to speed
Follow our brand style and take feedback fast — we move quickly

Requirements:

Proven experience editing short-form content (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
Proficient in CapCut Pro and/or Premiere Pro
Strong sense of pacing, hooks, and what performs on social — not just technical editing
Automotive content experience is a big plus but not required
Reliable internet, able to download large video files daily
Available to work with some overlap with US Eastern Time for feedback
Good written English
