JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and tech-savvy Construction Project Manager & Operations Assistant to help manage our active real estate development and construction projects, while improving the systems that support the business.

This is a high-autonomy role for someone who can take ownership of multiple projects, keep multiple parties accountable, and communicate clearly with stakeholders and leadership. Strong attention to detail is necessary for success. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable coordinating a contractor in the field, reviewing a project budget, maintaining ClickUp project tasks, or figuring out how automation can enhance operations.

Construction Project Management & Coordination (85%)
- Own active projects end-to-end, keeping timelines, deliverables, and stakeholders on track.
- Coordinate and communicate with GCs, subcontractors, vendors, designers, architects, accounting, and lenders. Proactively identify and resolve issues, delays, and blockers; keep leadership informed.
- Maintain ClickUp as the project 'source of truth' and continuously improve project workflows.
- Track project budgets and upcoming costs as part of overall project management. Work with Accounting to ensure project expenses, construction draws, and supporting financial documentation are properly tracked and organized.

Operations (15%)
- Develop and improve SOPs, workflows, and templates as the business scales.
- Identify opportunities and implement AI solutions to improve operational efficiency
- Draft business documents and handle ad-hoc operational tasks, research, and special projects as needed.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills / background:

Required
- Prior construction project management experience, ideally in residential construction.
- Prior remote project management experience with the ability to independently manage projects and stakeholders.
- Experience using ClickUp to manage projects, tasks, timelines, and workflows.
- Experience with CAD and the ability to review and work with basic drawings/plans.
- Experience using AI tools, automation platforms, or other technology to improve business processes.
- Highly proactive; able to identify what needs to happen next without being told.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines independently.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
- Experience in US/Canada residential real estate development
- Experience working directly with general contractors and subcontractors.
- Experience with residential design, material lists, finish schedules, or installation guides.
- Experience with permitting and working with architects / consultants.
- Experience developing SOPs and operational workflows.

The ideal person is an operator, not just an administrator.

You are someone who sees a problem and figures out how to solve it. You don't wait to be told what to do when the next obvious step is clear. You keep projects moving, follow up with people, organize information, catch mistakes, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.

You are comfortable moving between high-level project management and detailed execution. One hour you may be coordinating with a contractor; the next you may be comparing material bids, reviewing a project expense, updating ClickUp, or figuring out how to automate a repetitive process.

As the company grows, we expect this role to evolve with it. Someone who demonstrates strong judgment, ownership, and operational ability will have the opportunity to take on significantly greater responsibility.
