We're looking for someone contribute to the visual identity of a character-based product brand, across AI-generated imagery and video. This isn't a "type a prompt and ship it" role - we need someone with a real eye for composition, character consistency, and brand-level polish who can direct AI tools the way an art director directs a photographer.
What you'll do:
Collate visual references (mood boards, competitor benchmarks, style refs) to anchor each generation session before producing anything
Generate product, character, and lifestyle imagery/video entirely through AI tools (Midjourney, Ideogram, SDXL, Runway, Kling, or similar)
Maintain character consistency across SKUs, campaigns, and formats (same proportions, palette, expression range, materials)
Direct iterative refinement - knowing when a generation is close vs. when to scrap and restart with a different reference/prompt strategy
QC every asset for AI artifacts, anatomical errors, off-brand elements, and inconsistency before it goes out
Organize a reusable reference/prompt library so quality is repeatable, not one-off
Requirements:
Portfolio showing AI-generated character or product artwork (not just photography or traditional illustration)
Hands-on fluency with at least one major image model and one video model
Strong fundamentals: composition, lighting, color theory, anatomy/proportion - you can tell what's wrong with a generation and why
Comfortable doing reference research independently, not waiting to be handed mood boards
Sharp eye for QC - catching extra fingers, warped logos, inconsistent character features, etc.
Nice to have:
Experience with toy, CPG, or character-IP brands
Prompt engineering chops (structured, repeatable prompting, not trial-and-error)
Basic Photoshop skills for spot-fixing AI artifacts
How to apply:
Send your portfolio with at least 3-5 examples of AI-generated character or product work, and a short note on your typical reference-to-final workflow.
