JOB OVERVIEW

I’m looking for someone who is quick, efficient, creative and able to work independently. I don’t want someone who simply waits for me to tell them what to post — I want someone who can bring fresh ideas, understand social media trends and actively help grow the business online. I want someone with excellent written English.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

* Creating engaging content for Instagram and TikTok
* Coming up with fresh and creative content ideas
* Creating Instagram Reels, TikToks, carousels and Stories
* Editing short-form videos using CapCut
* Creating graphics, carousels and templates using Canva
* Writing engaging captions, hooks and calls-to-action
* Researching current Instagram and TikTok trends
* Finding trending sounds and adapting them to a beauty business
* Planning weekly social media content
* Repurposing existing photos and videos into multiple pieces of content
* Creating educational, entertaining and promotional content around brows, lashes and beauty
* Helping increase engagement, reach, followers and bookings
* Keeping content consistent with the brand’s existing aesthetic and style
* Looking at social media analytics and identifying what content is performing well
* Suggesting improvements and new strategies
* Organising content and files neatly
* Working independently and meeting deadlines

WHAT I’M LOOKING FOR

* Previous experience in social media management/content creation
* At least 1–2 years of relevant experience
* Excellent written English with good grammar and spelling
* Strong knowledge of Instagram and TikTok
* Strong Canva skills
* Strong CapCut/video editing skills
* Good understanding of Reels, TikToks, Stories and carousel content
* Understanding of social media trends and what makes content perform well
* Creative and able to come up with ideas independently
* Excellent attention to detail
* Reliable, organised and able to meet deadlines
* Fast and efficient
* Comfortable working independently without constant supervision
* Able to take feedback and make revisions
* Good communication and quick response times
* Experience working with a beauty, fashion, lifestyle or personal brand is a BIG bonus

THE TYPE OF PERSON I’M LOOKING FOR

I want someone who is genuinely interested in social media and content creation, not someone who is simply looking for a general VA position.

You should be someone who is constantly aware of new trends, enjoys coming up with ideas and understands how to make content interesting and engaging.

I want you to be able to look at my business and say:

“Here’s what I think we should post, here’s why, and here’s how I would create it.”

You should be comfortable taking initiative and bringing ideas to me rather than waiting for instructions for every single post.
You will be asked to do a typing test.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

7. If you were managing a brow & lash business Instagram, what 5 types of content would you recommend?
8. Please give me 3 original content ideas you would create for a brow & lash business.
9. What hours are you available to work and what is your usual response time?
10. Please tell me what equipment and internet connection you use for work.

PAID TRIAL TASK

Shortlisted applicants may be asked to complete a small paid trial task using photos/videos I provide.

The trial may include creating:

* 1 short-form Reel/TikTok
* 1 Instagram carousel
* 3 Instagram Story ideas

This will allow me to see your creativity, editing skills, attention to detail and understanding of the brand before making a long-term decision.

Please do not apply without examples of your previous work/portfolio.
