JOB OVERVIEW

Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and User Specialist to validate end-to-end business workflows and user journeys across our native app. In this role, you will test technical application, and end users usability and business acceptance criteria before public deployment.

Key Responsibilities
• Test Execution & User Validation: Execute end-to-end UAT test scenarios and exploratory testing on desktop, real iOS and Android devices, focusing on user journeys, permissions, push notifications, and offline/online state transitions.
• Scenario & Test Plan Design: Translate application requirement documents (PRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria into realistic, business-focused UAT test cases.
• Defect Management: Identify, document, and triage functional, and performance defects in the app, detailing clear steps to show issues, log the issues found, screen recordings, and expected outcomes.
• Build Distribution & Release Readiness: Manage and test pre-production builds via TestFlight (iOS) and Google Play Console Internal/Closed Testing tracks.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Closely work with Developer, Creator Product Managers, to validate bug fixes, clarify ambiguous behaviors, and sign off on updates and releases.
• Hardware & OS Compatibility: Validate app performance across varying screen sizes, Mobile versions, network constraints (3G, 4G, 5G, Wi-Fi, airplane mode), and device configurations (biometrics, camera access, battery saving modes).

Required Qualifications & Skills
• Experience: 2–4+ years of experience in QA/UAT testing, with a dedicated focus on native and mobile applications (iOS and Android).
• Platform Familiarity: Strong working knowledge of platform-specific design (Apple Human Interface Guidelines and Google Material Design).
• Build Tools: Practical experience using Apple TestFlight and Google Play Console for beta distribution and build tracking.
• Tooling: Proficiency with test management and issue-tracking software (e.g., Jira)
• Device Debugging: Familiarity with capturing mobile logs and crash reports.
• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical flaws and requirements in clear business terms.
