JOB OVERVIEW

Overview

I run a Shopify fashion brand selling to Australia, with Meta ads running 24/7. I'm based in Europe and asleep during a critical spending window. I need one person to watch my ad account during those hours and pull the plug on campaigns that breach clearly defined rules.

This is a monitoring and execution role, not a strategy role. You will not be asked to write ads, build audiences, or decide what to scale. You will be given a written SOP with exact thresholds, and your job is to follow it precisely and log what you did.

What You'll Actually Do
Log into Meta Ads Manager and Shopify at the start of your shift and check both every 30 minutes for the duration
Compare live ad spend against Shopify orders and revenue for the day
Pause any campaign, ad set, or ad that hits the kill thresholds in the SOP (spend without conversions, CPA above ceiling, ROAS below floor — exact numbers provided)
Record every action in a shared Google Sheet: timestamp, what you paused, spend at time of pause, which rule triggered it
Flag anything unusual immediately via WhatsApp/Slack — site down, checkout errors, sudden spend spike, ad account disabled, payment failure
Send a short end-of-shift summary: total spend, orders, what was paused and why
What You Will NOT Do
Turn campaigns back on (I do that)
Change budgets, bids, audiences, or creative
Make judgment calls outside the SOP — if it's not covered, you message me and wait
Requirements
Hands-on experience inside Meta Ads Manager (you must be able to navigate campaign/ad set/ad levels without hand-holding)
Familiarity with Shopify admin, at minimum the Orders and Analytics sections
Understanding of ROAS, CPA, CPM, CTR — I'll test this
Reliable internet plus a backup connection (mobile data is fine), and a smartphone for alerts
Disciplined and literal. I want someone who follows the rule exactly, not someone who improvises because they had a hunch
Clear written English
Available consistently at the same hours — reliability matters more than experience here
Nice to Have
Experience with DTC / dropshipping brands
Familiarity with Triple Whale, Northbeam, or similar
Experience monitoring accounts spending $500+/day
How to Apply

Please don't send a generic application. Include:

The word "Whitecap" in your first line so I know you read this
A short description of the largest ad account you've worked in and what your role was
Your answer to this: A campaign has spent $80 today with 1 sale at $65 AOV. The SOP says pause at $60 spend with fewer than 2 sales. What do you do, and what do you write in the log?
Confirmation that 6am–1pm Manila time works for you long-term

Shortlisted applicants will do a paid one-week trial.
