JOB OVERVIEW

Chasing Daylight Studio is looking for a part-time video editors to join our growing team. This is not full-time employment.
Editors are assigned projects as jobs come in.

There is no hourly pay.

Schedule & Availability
• Workdays: 7 days/week as work comes in
• Projects are typically assigned by 10:00 PM EST
• Videos must be submitted back to us by the following day
• Weekly workload will vary based on volume

Work Structure
• Editors are assigned projects as they come in and the projects will be shared between 2 video editors
• Some weeks may be busier than others
• If volume slows, fewer projects may be assigned
• This role is best for someone comfortable with flexible, project-based work
• You will be part of our larger team and it will require you to communicate back and forth with videographers that are filming properties

Pay
• Paid per video ($20 for basic video, $40 for Premium video)

Software & Equipment
• Adobe Premier is required to fit into our workflow
• All Ai, music, fonts, sound effects, and creative assets are provided
• Editors are not required to purchase any assets
• Editors are NOT allowed to use our assets for any other companies other than ours. If that happens termination of work will be immediate.

Requirements
• Experience editing video in Adobe Premiere
• High-speed, reliable internet connection
• Strong attention to detail (especially spelling and on-screen text)
• Good written English
• Ability to follow systems and instructions
• Team-oriented attitude and good communication

Experience
• Real estate video editing experience is required
• Applicants must submit at least one example of a real estate video they have edited previously

Training
• You will be provided a real estate video editing training course where you will have to complete 1 to 2 projects including Ai and virtual furniture staging, or explain how you would do it (if you don't currently have access to Ai assets)
• This training will be unpaid but you'll have to have it in order to get work for us. It will also sharpen your skills that can be used in other work for other companies. This training would normally cost you hundreds of dollars but we provide it at NO COST to you.
