JOB OVERVIEW

I build websites for small local businesses. The pitch is unusual and that
is why it works: **the business does not pay to see it.** I rebuild their
website, they get a working link, and only then do we talk about money.

Your job is the phone call that starts it. You call small businesses whose
current website is outdated and you ask one thing: may I send you a
rebuilt version of your website to look at, free, no obligation?

That is it. You are not closing a sale on that first call. You are getting
a yes and an email address.

Markets are the **USA and the UK**. I handle Germany myself.

What you will do

- Call small local businesses. Restaurants, pubs, cafés, salons, garages,
electricians, roofers, landscapers.
- Ask whether they would like to see a free, rebuilt version of their
website. No obligation, no payment, nothing to sign.
- If yes: get their **email address**, the name of the person you spoke to,
and anything they tell you about the business.
- **Tell me the moment someone says yes.** Not at the end of the day. I
build the site and send it to that address **within 12 hours**.
- Follow up by phone a few days later, and again after two weeks.
- Close the sale when the owner is ready, and make sure the ongoing plan
is on the table every single time. More on that below, because it is
where most of your money is.
- Send me a short written update at the end of every working day: who you
called, who said yes, who said no.

I will give you part of my lead list to start with, but finding your own
leads is part of the job. I will show you exactly how I find them.

What you are selling

Three ways, and the customer picks:

1. **One-off.** £449 in the UK, 499 EUR in Europe and 499$. The site is handed over
and belongs to them.
2. **One-off plus hosting.** Same as above, and I look after the domain,
hosting and updates for a small monthly fee.
3. **All-in monthly.** No payment up front, everything included, 24 month
minimum term.

You do not need to memorise numbers. I give you the current prices for
each market and a script.

What you get

- **70 USD for every website that sells.**
- **On top of that, for every month the customer actually pays:**
- **5 EUR** if they took the all-in monthly plan
- **2 EUR** if they bought the site once and took hosting
- Paid monthly, for as long as that customer keeps paying, up to 24 months.

What that means in practice, per customer you close:

| What the customer takes | You earn |
| --- | --- |
| One-off only | about 60 EUR |
| One-off plus hosting | about 108 EUR over two years |
| All-in monthly | about 180 EUR over two years |

**This is deliberate.** Every route pays you roughly the same share, so
you can recommend whatever genuinely fits the business instead of
whatever pays you best. But the ongoing plans are worth two to three
times as much to you in total, so it is always worth asking.

- Everything is provided: leads, script, the websites, the emails. You
never build or design anything.
- Long term. I am not looking for a campaign, I am looking for one person
to work with.

**Read this carefully:** this is commission only. There is no base salary
and no payment per call. If you need a guaranteed monthly income, this
role is not for you, and I would rather you knew that now than in two
weeks.
What I need from you

- **Excellent spoken English with a neutral accent.** You will be talking
to a pub owner in Essex and to a garage owner in Ohio. If they have to
concentrate to understand you, the call is over. This is the single most
important requirement and I will assess it in a short voice call.
- Willingness to work their hours, not yours.** UK business hours are
roughly 4 pm to 1 am Manila time. US East Coast is later still. You do
not have to cover all of it, but you must be reliably available in a
block that matches one of the two markets.
- Phone manner that survives rejection. Most calls end in no. The job is
not persuasion, it is asking a fair question many times without going
flat.
- Honesty in reporting. If a business said no, write no. Numbers I cannot
trust are worse than no numbers.
- Reliable internet and a headset that does not crackle.

What I do not need

- No design, no coding, no marketing courses.
- No agency and no team. One person.
- No hard selling. The first look is free. Anyone who has to be pushed at
that stage will not stay a customer.

How to apply

Send me a **voice recording of about sixty seconds** in English. In it:

1. Say who you are and where you have done phone work before.
2. Then, as if I were the owner of a small garage in England, make the
call. Ask me whether I would like to see a free rebuilt version of my
website.

Use your own words. I am not listening for a perfect script. I am
listening for how you sound and whether I would keep listening.

Applications without a voice recording I will not read.
