JOB OVERVIEW

1. Graphic Designer – Social Media & Brand Guidelines

Role Overview

We are looking for a Graphic Designer who will primarily create graphics for social media and marketing materials while following the company’s existing brand guidelines and templates.

The designer will be provided with existing templates and brand guidelines and will be responsible for adapting and creating graphics based on specific campaigns, promotions, products, and upcoming events.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create social media graphics using existing company templates and brand guidelines.
- Adapt templates to suit different products, promotions, campaigns, and announcements.
- Incorporate product images and elements into existing designs.
- Create variations of graphics while maintaining consistent branding.
- Ensure all designs follow the company’s established colours, fonts, layouts, and visual style.

Ideal Candidate:
- Strong graphic design skills.
- Proficient in Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Able to follow established brand guidelines accurately.
- Creative, but comfortable working within existing templates and guidelines.
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines.

2. Creative Graphic Designer – New Concepts

Role Overview

We are looking for a more concept-driven and creative designer who can generate new design ideas for products and packaging, rather than simply working from existing templates.

This person will be responsible for developing multiple creative concepts and presenting different design directions for products, including ideas that are appropriate for the Western market.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new and original design concepts for products.
- Create multiple design directions and variations for the same product.
- Develop concepts for product packaging and visual presentation.
- Research and understand Western market trends, styles, and consumer preferences.
- Present ideas such as “Here are five different design concepts for this product.”
- Create initial mock-ups and visual concepts to communicate ideas.
- Explore different styles, layouts, colours, typography, and visual approaches.
- Take feedback and refine concepts into stronger designs.
- Work closely with the team to brainstorm new product and design ideas.
- Ensure designs are commercially appropriate and aligned with the target market.

Ideal Candidate:
- Strong creative and conceptual design skills.
- Experience with product and/or packaging design.
- Able to develop original ideas rather than simply following templates.
- Strong understanding of design trends and Western consumer markets.
- Proficient in Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar design software.
- Strong visual communication and presentation skills.
- Able to provide multiple creative options and explain design thinking.
- Commercially minded and able to design with the target customer in mind.
