About Encodex

Encodex is a private product lab working across AI systems, product engineering, cyber defense, and robotics. We build software products and technology solutions for international clients.

We are looking for a motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) based in the Philippines to join our team. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who wants to develop strong skills in sales, business development, communication, and technology.

Previous sales experience is not required. We are open to beginners, self-taught candidates, and candidates who are highly motivated to learn.

Role Overview

As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying potential business opportunities, researching companies and decision-makers, reaching out to prospects, and helping generate qualified meetings for the team.

A significant part of this role involves cold calling and direct communication with international prospects. You should therefore be confident speaking with business owners, managers, and decision-makers over the phone.

Key Responsibilities
Research target industries, companies, and potential clients
Identify new business development opportunities
Research companies and key decision-makers
Build and maintain prospect lists
Conduct cold email outreach
Make cold calls to potential clients
Follow up with prospects through email and other communication channels
Manage outreach campaigns and track results
Test and improve sales messages, niches, and outreach strategies
Qualify potential opportunities
Schedule meetings with qualified prospects
Learn about Encodex's products, services, and target markets
Continuously improve your sales and communication skills
Required Skills and Qualifications
English Communication Is a Strict Requirement

Excellent spoken and written English is essential for this position.

Because the role involves frequent phone conversations with international clients, candidates must have:

Excellent spoken English
Clear and easily understandable pronunciation
Strong verbal communication skills
Confidence communicating with international clients
A neutral or internationally understandable English pronunciation
The ability to communicate clearly during professional phone conversations

Candidates whose pronunciation or regional accent makes communication difficult for international clients may not be suitable for this position.

This requirement is particularly important because cold calling is a core responsibility of the role.
