JOB OVERVIEW

We are Amandar Pty Ltd, an established commercial metalwork contractor based in Australia. We are seeking a highly detailed, professional, and dedicated Full-Time Metalwork Estimator based in the Philippines to join our team.

This is a permanent work-from-home position fully aligned with Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST). You will work directly with our Australian management team to deliver precise, competitive material takeoffs and quotes.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform detailed structural and architectural metalwork material takeoffs and estimations using Bluebeam.
* Thoroughly read, interpret, and analyze complex construction drawings, engineering plans, site plans, and architectural elevations.
* Measure and quantify metalwork items (e.g., balustrades, handrails, structural steel elements, louvres, custom fabrications).
* Respond quickly and professionally to internal phone calls, Slack/Teams messages, and emails during designated working hours.
* Assist in preparing competitive tender submissions and breakdowns.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

* Degree: Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent technical construction field.
* Experience: Minimum of 3 years of traceable, verifiable experience in construction estimation (experience estimating for the Australian construction market is highly preferred).
* Software: Must be fully fluent and highly proficient in Bluebeam Revu. (A valid software license will be provided by us).
* Communication: Native or professional-level fluency in both written and spoken English. Ability to communicate technical data clearly.

Work Schedule & Technical Requirements:

* Shift Hours: Must be fully active and available during Australian working hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Sydney Time (AEST/AEDT), Monday to Friday.
* Hardware: You must possess your own modern computer/laptop that meets the optimal system requirements to run heavy PDF drawings smoothly in Bluebeam.
* Internet: Reliable, high-speed internet connection with a stable, functional backup power solution (UPS/Generator) in case of local power outages.

* Due to the commercial nature of our projects, the successful candidate must sign a strict non-disclosure and privacy statement prior to commencing work to maintain secure information protocols.
