JOB OVERVIEW

GOOGLE ADS MANAGER
Sabre Digital | Remote, Philippines | Full Time, long term
1 position. Immediate start.

ABOUT US
Sabre Digital is a London based ecommerce growth agency. We build and scale Shopify stores for UK, US and AU DTC brands across fashion, jewellery, homeware and personalised products. Our work covers paid advertising, Shopify development, conversion rate optimisation and email retention.

We are hiring an experienced Google Ads manager to own Google across our client accounts, working directly with the founder alongside our Meta and TikTok media buyer and our Shopify development team.

THE ROLE
You own the Google accounts end to end. Shopping, Performance Max, Search, Demand Gen and YouTube, plus the Merchant Centre feed work that d ---------- whether any of it performs. Feeds are half the job on ecommerce Google Ads and we want someone who knows that already.

This is not a role where you wait for instructions. You audit, you build, you test, and you tell us what to do next.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
CAMPAIGN MANAGEMENT
- Plan, build and manage Google Ads campaigns across Shopping, Performance Max, Search, Demand Gen and YouTube
- Structure accounts properly: campaign architecture, asset groups, product segmentation, budget allocation, audience signals and exclusions
- Manage daily budgets and bidding across multiple client accounts, scaling what works and cutting what does not
- Run continuous search term analysis, negative keyword work and query sculpting to stop wasted spend
- Build and optimise Search campaigns including keyword research, ad copy, extensions and landing page recommendations
- Manage brand versus non brand separation and report on incrementality honestly rather than taking credit for brand traffic

MERCHANT CENTRE AND FEED WORK
- Own Merchant Centre health: disapprovals, policy issues, feed errors, missing attributes
- Optimise product feeds for performance: titles, descriptions, product types, custom labels, image quality, GTINs
- Use custom labels to segment products by margin, price band, seasonality and performance
- Work with our Shopify developers on feed sources, apps and product data structure
- Manage promotions, sale price annotations and free listings

TRACKING, REPORTING AND STRATEGY
- Own conversion tracking accuracy: Google Ads tags, GA4, enhanced conversions, offline and server side where relevant
- Monitor performance daily against ROAS, CPA, conversion rate, impression share and cost per click
- Produce weekly and monthly reporting with clear commentary on what happened, what you changed and what happens next
- Write ad copy and test messaging against offers, USPs and seasonality
- Flag landing page and site issues that are costing conversions instead of quietly absorbing them
- Coordinate with the Meta and TikTok buyer so channels support each other rather than competing for the same credit

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR (ESSENTIAL)
- Proven hands on Google Ads experience managing real ecommerce budgets. You must be able to tell us the accounts, the spend level and the results
- Strong Shopping and Performance Max experience specifically. Lead gen only Search experience is not enough for this role
- Merchant Centre and product feed competence. You have fixed disapprovals and optimised feed data yourself
- Confident with GA4 and conversion tracking setup and debugging
- Ability to read data and draw the right conclusion, then act on it without being asked
- Strong written English for ad copy and client facing reporting
- Reliable high speed internet and a capable working setup
- Self managing and process driven. You check accounts daily
- Available full time with hours overlapping UK business hours

DESIRABLE
- Google Ads certification
- Experience with feed management tools such as Feedonomics, DataFeedWatch or Shopify feed apps
- Experience with attribution tools such as Triple Whale
- Agency experience running several client accounts at once
- Google Tag Manager and server side tagging experience
- Experience with Microsoft Ads or Google Ads scripts

HOW YOU WILL BE MEASURED
- ROAS and cost per acquisition against client targets
- Non brand performance specifically, not blended numbers propped up by brand search
- Merchant Centre health and feed coverage
- Account hygiene: no wasted spend, negatives maintained, tracking accurate
- Reporting delivered on time with real insight, not screenshots

WHAT IS ON OFFER
- Full time, stable, long term remote work with a growing agency
- Real ownership of the Google channel across multiple brands, not executing someone else's media plan
- A development team that will actually implement the site and feed changes you recommend
- Direct access to the founder, fast decisions, no corporate layers
- Genuine progression and increased pay as accounts and results grow

HOW TO APPLY
1. Apply with your CV and a summary of accounts you have managed
2. Shortlisted candidates complete a paid test task: audit a live Google Ads account and Merchant Centre feed, and present a 30 day plan
3. Video interview
4. Paid trial period during your first week

IMPORTANT: In the first line of your application, tell us the highest monthly Google Ads spend you have personally managed, in which niche, and whether it was Shopping, PMax or Search led. Then in two sentences, tell us how you would structure Performance Max for a store with 400 products and mixed margins. Applications without this will not be reviewed.
