TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER & CLIENT SUCCESS MANAGER
Low-Voltage Telecommunications and Network Infrastructure

Company: Integrated Staffing
Location: Remote – Philippines
Schedule: Part-Time Initially, With Opportunity to Expand to Full-Time
Required Availability: U.S. Eastern Time overlap
Compensation: Based on experience, plus project-profitability incentives

ABOUT INTEGRATED STAFFING

Integrated Staffing supports U.S.-based clients with staffing, coordination and project delivery for low-voltage telecommunications, structured cabling, fiber, networking, access control, Wi-Fi, technical infrastructure and field-service projects.

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager & Client Success Manager who can take ownership of projects from initial scope review through completion, client acceptance, invoicing and payment.

This is not a general administrative project-management position. Applicants must understand low-voltage systems, network infrastructure, switches, routers and telecommunications equipment well enough to communicate credibly with clients and technicians, recognize project risks and protect project profitability.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Planning and Launch

* Review statements of work, drawings, schedules, client requirements and project assumptions.
* Identify missing information, scope gaps, technical risks and unrealistic expectations before work begins.
* Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, staffing plans and communication schedules.
* Determine technician qualifications, labor requirements, materials, equipment, travel and site-access needs.
* Coordinate kickoff meetings with clients, technicians, subcontractors, vendors and internal team members.
* Confirm that sites, materials, equipment and personnel are ready before deployment.
* Establish and monitor the approved project budget and targeted gross-profit margin.

Technical Project Management

* Manage low-voltage telecommunications and network-infrastructure projects.
* Understand and discuss structured cabling, copper, fiber, switches, routers, wireless access points and related equipment.
* Review technical requirements and ask appropriate questions when information is unclear.
* Coordinate equipment installation, replacement, cabling, testing, labeling and documentation.
* Assign technicians with the correct skills and certifications.
* Identify potential technical problems before they cause delays, rework or cost overruns.
* Communicate technical information clearly between clients, field teams and internal stakeholders.
* Escalate issues requiring engineering, programming or executive approval.

Field-Team Coordination

* Coordinate leads, technicians, helpers, subcontractors and vendors.
* Conduct regular field-team check-ins and maintain accurate project-status records.
* Track attendance, time, completed work, productivity and remaining scope.
* Confirm that technicians submit required daily reports, photographs, test results, receipts and time records.
* Address attendance, performance, communication and documentation problems promptly.
* Resolve scheduling, travel, lodging, access, equipment and material issues.
* Maintain accountability while treating employees, contractors and clients professionally.

Budget and Profitability Management

* Maintain a current project budget showing revenue, labor, payroll costs, overtime, travel, lodging, per diem, materials, shipping, subcontractors and equipment expenses.
* Compare estimated, committed and actual project costs.
* Forecast final project gross profit and immediately report potential margin loss.
* Prevent unauthorized overtime, purchases and scope expansion.
* Confirm that out-of-scope work is documented and approved through a written change order.
* Track change-order status and ensure approved additional work is included in billing.
* Work with bookkeeping to assign costs to the correct project.
* Explain budget variances and recommend corrective action.

Client Communication and Retention

* Serve as a dependable point of contact for assigned clients.
* Provide accurate, timely and professional project updates.
* Document client expectations, decisions, approvals and changes.
* Follow up on every commitment and ensure that client questions are answered.
* Address concerns before they become complaints or lost relationships.
* Maintain client follow-up before, during and after each project.
* Conduct post-project follow-up and identify future staffing or project opportunities.
* Help convert successful projects into repeat work and long-term relationships.
* Never make unauthorized contractual, pricing or spending commitments.

Quality Control and Closeout

* Confirm that completed work meets the approved scope and client requirements.
* Track punch-list items through final completion.
* Collect test results, labeling records, photographs, as-built information, signed work tickets and client acceptance.
* Verify that employee time, expenses, receipts and subcontractor documentation are complete.
* Prepare a billing-ready project-closeout package immediately after completion.
* Coordinate with bookkeeping to support prompt and accurate invoicing.
* Maintain organized project files that can support billing, collections, audits or disputes.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

Applicants must understand:

* Low-voltage telecommunications systems
* Structured cabling
* Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6A cabling
* Copper termination and testing
* Fiber-optic cabling, connectors, termination and testing
* Network switches and routers

* Basic network diagrams and equipment layouts
* Access-control and other low-voltage systems
* Telecommunications-equipment installation and replacement
* Site surveys, bills of materials and statements of work
* Technician skill requirements
* Field testing and closeout documentation
* Basic safety requirements for ladders and aerial lifts

The Project Manager is not necessarily expected to configure or program every device. However, the person must understand the equipment and installation process well enough to recognize problems, evaluate technician qualifications and communicate effectively with technical clients and field teams.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

PERFORMANCE MEASURES

Success will be measured by:

* Complete field and closeout documentation
* Reduced rework, unauthorized overtime and preventable expenses
* Speed of closeout and invoicing readiness
