Head of Content

MIM Prep Location: Remote, Philippines or Madagascar preferred Type: Full-time contractor Reports to: Alex, COO Compensation: Competitive, based on experience

About the role

MIM Prep is looking for a Head of Content to own the full content operation, from planning through to publishing. This is a hands-on management role: you will coordinate a team of editors, manage rounds of edits across formats, and take responsibility for what gets posted, where, and when.

What you'll do
Own the end-to-end content calendar across all channels (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and others as needed)
Coordinate a team of editors across long-form and short-form content, managing briefs, deadlines, and rounds of revisions
Manage production of carousels and static ad creative, from brief to final asset
Oversee video content workflows for YouTube and short-form platforms
Post and schedule content across all platforms, maintaining a consistent publishing cadence
Coordinate with the wider team on ad campaigns, ensuring creative aligns with campaign goals and timelines
Maintain quality control across all content types (tone, accuracy, formatting, brand consistency)
Track content performance and feed learnings back into planning
What we're looking for
At least 5 years of experience in content management, ideally across both social media and longer-form content
Proven experience coordinating editors or a content team, including managing feedback and revision cycles
Comfortable working across formats: long-form, short-form, carousels, static ads, video
Familiarity with content workflows on Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube specifically
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines at once
Excellent written English
Nice to have
Experience in the education, test prep, or admissions space
Direct experience briefing or producing paid ad creative
Basic design or video editing skills (Canva, CapCut, or similar)
