About Benoz.AI -
Benoz.AI is an Israeli company building a multi-tenant SaaS platform for nonprofit and social-sector organisations. For years we delivered custom systems to clients one at a time; we are now replacing that portfolio with a single AI-powered platform, built on an architecture that is already designed and documented.

The role -
You will be the first engineer on the platform: writing the first production code, building the first client module end to end, and setting the engineering standards (code review, testing, deployment) that the team we hire after you will inherit. You will work directly with the founding team, and we expect you to push back when something in the design deserves it.
This is an AI-first development role. We build fast with AI tools like Claude Code across the whole workflow: planning, coding, testing, reviewing. Working this way is a core part of the job, and knowing where the tools stop being useful matters as much as using them.

Who you are -
• At least 5 years of full stack development experience, including at least one system you took from an empty repository to production and kept running
• Experienced in AI-assisted development: you already build with tools like Claude Code daily, and you can show it
• Leadership experience: a tech lead, or the person others came to for direction
• Excellent English, written and spoken: some of our work is asynchronous and written, and you will also be in regular calls with the team
• Self-managing: you plan your own work, communicate progress without being chased, and raise flags early when something is off
• Ownership mindset: you treat the platform as yours, including quality, security, and deadlines

Required technical experience -
• TypeScript, Next.js, React: in production, full stack, not just frontend
• Supabase: schema design, indexing, JSONB, Row-Level Security, auth, storage
• Deployment & infrastructure: Vercel or similar serverless platforms, and traditional Node.js servers (Docker, Render, AWS or similar)
• Queues & background jobs: BullMQ, QStash, Inngest or similar; retries, idempotency
• Auth & API design: JWT/OAuth, RBAC, REST, rate limiting
• Testing: unit and integration (Vitest, Jest, Playwright or similar)
• AI APIs: Anthropic, OpenAI or similar, integrated into product features

Nice to have -
Multi-tenant SaaS or configurable platform experience, pgvector / RAG, Sentry or similar observability, Tailwind, webhooks and third-party integrations (email, SMS, payments).

Hours & engagement -
• Scope: part-time to start (4 hours/day, Mon–Fri), moving to full-time within ~2 months
• Part-time schedule: 9:00–13:00 Philippine time (overlapping US hours)
• Full-time schedule: Israel business hours, 9:00–17:00 Israel time (14:00–22:00 Philippine time)
• Long-term role, not a project
