We are building an Amazon FBA private-label business and are looking for an experienced Product Sourcing Specialist to help us identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers for products we have already researched and validated.
Our preference is for someone with strong experience sourcing from manufacturers and suppliers within the United States, ideally with an existing supplier network or proven methods for identifying qualified domestic manufacturers.
Key Responsibilities

•? ?Compare suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, lead time, and overall landed economics.
•? ?Identify potential sourcing, compliance, quality-control, or supply-chain risks before orders are placed.
•? ?Maintain clear supplier records, quotes, communication history, and sourcing comparisons.
•? ?Work closely with our Amazon team to ensure sourced products meet required margins and Amazon FBA requirements.
You should have:

•? ?Strong knowledge of U.S. manufacturers, suppliers, contract manufacturers, and distributors.
•? ?Existing U.S. supplier/manufacturer contacts are highly preferred.

•? ?Experience evaluating supplier reliability and manufacturing quality.
•? ?Familiarity with Amazon FBA product, packaging, labeling, and compliance requirements.
•? ?Ability to communicate professionally with suppliers by
•? ?Strong research, organization, and documentation skills.
Experience sourcing internationally is useful, but we are specifically looking for someone who can go beyond Alibaba and has substantial knowledge of the U.S. manufacturing and supplier landscape.
We will provide:
•? ?Researched and pre-qualified product concepts
•? ?Target selling prices
•? ?Preliminary landed-cost ceilings
•? ?Product specifications and improvement requirements
•? ?Known customer complaints and quality issues to address
•? ?Required sample and quality-control tests
•? ?Guidance on which products should be sourced first
You will not be expected to randomly search for products to sell. Your primary responsibility will be turning validated product opportunities into qualified supplier options and commercially viable products.
The initial project will involve sourcing suppliers for a selected group of Amazon FBA private-label product opportunities. Strong performance can lead to ongoing sourcing and supplier-management work as the catalog expands.
Please include:
1.? ?A brief summary of your Amazon/private-label sourcing experience.
2.? ?Your experience specifically sourcing from U.S. manufacturers and suppliers.
3.? ?Examples of product categories you have sourced.
4.? ?How you typically find U.S. manufacturers beyond Google searches and Alibaba.
5.? ?Whether you already have an existing network of U.S. manufacturers or suppliers.
6.? ?An example of a sourcing project where you negotiated better pricing, MOQ, or terms.
7.? ?The tools or databases you use for manufacturer and supplier research.
8.? ?Your availability and preferred working arrangement.
