JOB OVERVIEW

Community Research & Engagement Specialist — Reddit
Remote — Philippines
Part-Time: 10–15 hours/week
$5 - 7 USD/hour depending on experience
This isn't a typical social-media job.
We're a growing U.S. oral-health and wellness company looking for someone who is exceptionally curious about people and the questions they ask online.
Every day, thousands of people go online worried about their health.
They're scared. They're confused. They're embarrassed to ask a question. Sometimes they simply want someone to explain something in a way they can understand.
We want to listen to them and help.
Your primary focus will be Reddit.
You'll find real conversations about oral health, gum disease, bleeding gums, dental anxiety, dental cleanings, bad breath, oral bacteria, saliva and other oral-health concerns.
But we don't just want to know what they're asking.
We want to understand why they're asking it.
Your Job
You'll spend approximately 10–15 hours each week:
Searching Reddit for relevant conversations and questions
Reading and understanding what people are worried about
Identifying the question behind the question
Categorizing questions, fears and recurring themes
Researching credible information
Drafting warm, thoughtful responses
Tracking conversations in Google Sheets
Following responses and identifying new questions
Preparing a short weekly report about what you're learning
What You Will NOT Do
This is extremely important.
You will not spam Reddit.
You will not copy and paste promotional messages.
You will not pretend to be a customer.
You will not secretly promote our company.
You will not diagnose anyone or give individualized medical treatment advice.
And you will not try to turn every conversation into a sale.
Our philosophy is simple:
Listen first.
Understand second.
Help third.
Marketing comes much later.
Who We're Looking For
You may be a great fit if:
Your written English is exceptional
You understand natural American conversation
You're empathetic and emotionally intelligent
You're naturally curious
You're a strong internet researcher
You can distinguish credible information from questionable claims
You are comfortable using Google Sheets
You understand Reddit culture—or are willing to learn it
You can write like a human, not a corporate marketing department
You know when a question should be escalated rather than answered
Healthcare, dental, wellness, research, customer-service or community-management experience is helpful but not required.
We're much more interested in how you think and communicate.
HOW TO APPLY

1. Someone posts on Reddit:
"I brush twice a day and floss. My dentist just told me I have gum disease. How is that even possible? I'm really upset."
Write exactly how you would respond.
2. Someone posts:
"I haven't been to the dentist in eight years because I'm terrified they're going to judge me. I know I need to go, but I can't make myself do it."
Write exactly how you would respond.
3. Someone asks you a health question and you're not confident that you know the correct answer.
What would you do?
Finally, begin your application with the words:
I READ THE ENTIRE POST
