JOB OVERVIEW

Finelle Living is looking for an experienced and reliable Accountant to join our growing team on a full-time basis.
We currently operate across the UAE and Morocco and are expanding into new businesses and markets. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of our day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, tax compliance and financial reporting, and grow with the business as we expand.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Bookkeeping
• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting for our UAE and Morocco entities
• Manage and maintain our accounting system in Zoho Books and/or QuickBooks
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards and payment platforms
• Reconcile transactions from OTAs, PMS platforms, Stripe and direct bookings
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Record and categorize all income, expenses and financial transactions
• Maintain all supporting invoices, receipts and financial documentation
Financial Reporting & Management
• Prepare accurate monthly Profit & Loss statements
• Prepare monthly Balance Sheet and Cash Flow reports
• Prepare monthly management and financial reports
• Monitor revenue, expenses, profitability and cash flow
• Track outstanding receivables and payables
• Review financial performance and highlight significant variances, discrepancies or unusual transactions
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
• Provide management with accurate and timely financial information to support business decisions
UAE Tax Compliance
• Prepare and file UAE VAT returns directly through the FTA portal
• Prepare and file UAE Corporate Tax returns directly through the FTA portal
• Ensure accurate VAT calculations, reconciliations and reporting
• Maintain all documentation and records required for UAE tax compliance
• Monitor VAT and Corporate Tax filing and payment deadlines
• Handle routine FTA requirements, correspondence and queries when required
• Work with external tax advisers when specialist advice is required
Morocco
• Manage the day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting for our Morocco operations
• Maintain accurate financial records and reporting for the Morocco entity
• Prepare the information and documentation required for tax compliance
• Work closely with our local Moroccan accountant for tax filings and local compliance
• Coordinate with the local accountant and provide all required financial information and supporting documentation
Business Growth
• Assist with the financial setup and accounting of new businesses and entities as we expand
• Help establish accounting processes and reporting structures for new businesses
• Support management with financial analysis and decision-making as the company grows
Requirements
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Strong hands-on accounting and financial reporting experience
• Proven experience with UAE accounting, VAT and Corporate Tax
• Hands-on experience preparing and filing UAE VAT returns through the FTA portal
• Hands-on experience preparing and filing UAE Corporate Tax returns through the FTA portal
• Strong understanding of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations
• Experience with Zoho Books and/or QuickBooks
• Strong Excel skills
• Strong experience preparing monthly P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow reports
• Experience with bank, credit card and payment-platform reconciliations
• Experience in hospitality, holiday homes, property management or tourism is a strong advantage
• Experience working with OTAs, PMS platforms and Stripe is a plus
• Knowledge of Moroccan accounting and taxation is highly preferred
• Experience working with a local accountant or external accounting firm is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Fluent English; French is highly preferred
Position
Full-Time | 40 hours per week
Location: Remote, Philippines
Employment Type: Full-Time Contract / Freelance
Compensation: PHP 65,000–75,000 per month, depending on experience
