JOB OVERVIEW

Operations Manager – Australian Real Estate

Real Estate Sync is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to help build, manage and streamline the operations of a growing real estate business.

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands the Australian real estate industry, can manage business operations, and is confident working across B2B and B2C environments.

What You'll Do:

Help establish and manage the day-to-day operations of the business
Develop and maintain business processes, systems and procedures
Prepare, manage and review contracts, agreements and documentation
Assist with compliance and regulatory requirements
Have a strong understanding of Australian real estate legislation and regulations
Be familiar with the requirements across all Australian states and territories
Support compliance with relevant real estate, employment, privacy and business requirements
Develop and implement SOPs and operational policies
Train, onboard and mentor staff
Assist real estate agents with their day-to-day operational needs
Monitor team performance, workflows and KPIs
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs
Coordinate between clients, staff, agents and management
Work with both B2B clients and B2C customers
Assist with escalations, client issues and operational problem-solving
Support management with reporting, planning and business development
Help ensure the business operates professionally, efficiently and consistently

What We're Looking For:

1+ years' experience in real estate operations, agency management or a similar role
Strong knowledge of the Australian real estate industry
Familiarity with real estate legislation and compliance requirements across Australian states
Experience with contracts, policies, procedures and documentation
Strong understanding of B2B and B2C operations
Experience training and managing staff
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and take ownership
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Comfortable working with real estate agents, property professionals, clients and business owners
Experience with CRM and real estate software is highly desirable
