We're looking for a high-level graphic designer + marketer who understands how to create static advertisements that actually sell.
This is not a Canva/template design position.
We work in the supplement and health ecommerce space, and we need someone who understands the customer, the market, the avatar, the mechanism and the advertising strategy before opening Photoshop/Figma.
You need to be able to look at a product and think:
Who is this for, what do they believe, what are they struggling with, what have they already tried, and what visual would make them stop scrolling?
Supplement Experience Is REQUIRED
You must have previous experience creating advertising creatives for:
Supplements
Health products
Wellness
Functional health
Vitamins
Skincare / beauty with a health angle
If you've never worked with supplement or health brands, this probably isn't the right position.
Please tell us exactly which brands you've worked with and what you created for them.
You MUST Understand Avatars
We need someone who understands what an avatar actually is.
Not:
"Women aged 40–60."
That's demographics.
We want someone who understands the person behind the demographic.
Their:
Problems
Desires
Fears
Frustrations
Beliefs
Previous solutions
Objections
Awareness level
Language
Buying motivations
In your application:
Explain what an avatar means to you and give us an example of how you would research one before creating an advertisement.
Tell Us How You Research
This is extremely important.
Before creating a static ad, how do you figure out what the market actually cares about?
Tell us your actual research process.
For example:
Customer reviews
Reddit
Amazon
Competitor advertisements
Meta Ad Library
Forums
Product reviews
Scientific research
Search data
Customer comments
Existing advertorials
Competitor funnels
We want to understand how you arrive at a creative idea, not just how you execute somebody else's idea.
Long-Form Native Statics
You must understand long-form static advertising.
We're not only looking for:
Product + headline + button
We want someone capable of creating native-looking, information-heavy static advertisements that can communicate a story or argument visually.
For example:
Long-form advertorial-style statics
Educational advertisements
Mechanism-based advertisements
Problem/solution creatives
"News/article" style creatives
Doctor/expert-style educational creatives
Customer story creatives
Comparison creatives
Infographic-style advertisements
Native-looking editorial creatives
You need to understand how to make a lot of information visually digestible without making the creative look like garbage.
You Understand Direct Response
You don't need to be a copywriter.
But you must understand direct-response advertising.
You should understand concepts such as:
Awareness levels
Market sophistication
Customer objections
Mechanisms
Angles
Hooks
Benefits vs features
Social proof
Curiosity
Pattern interruption
Problem agitation
Belief building
Offer communication
Most importantly, you should understand that different angles require different visual executions.
We Want A Marketer, Not Just A Designer
If we give you:
Product + Avatar + Angle + Mechanism
you should be able to take that information and develop the visual concept yourself.
We don't want to explain every pixel.
We want someone who can say:
"I understand the customer. Here's how I would communicate this idea visually."
And then execute it at a very high level.
Your Portfolio
Don't send us a massive portfolio of random graphic design work.
Show us your best-performing ecommerce advertisements.
Especially:
Supplement / health creatives.
For each relevant example, tell us:
Product
