About the Role
KoreVia Solutions is seeking an experienced California Government Contracts & Procurement Specialist to help our organization navigate state and government contracting opportunities.
We are specifically looking for someone with direct, hands-on experience with the California Department of General Services (DGS), Procurement Division, Cal eProcure, statewide contracts, or other California public-sector procurement processes.
This position may be structured on a part-time, per diem, consulting, or project-based basis, depending on experience and availability. The ideal candidate will work directly with our leadership team to provide procurement walkthroughs, identify requirements, review opportunities, and help ensure contract and proposal submissions are complete, compliant, accurate, and competitive.
Key Responsibilities
- Procurement Leadership: Guide leadership through California state procurement and contracting processes.
- Portal & Agency Navigation: Assist with navigating DGS Procurement Division and Cal eProcure.
- Solicitation Review: Review statewide contract opportunities, RFQs, RFPs, IFBs, and other solicitations.
- Compliance & Requirements: Help determine eligibility and submission requirements for individual opportunities.
- Checklists & Timelines: Develop submission checklists, timelines, and required-document lists.
- Proposal & Bid Audits: Review bid and proposal packages for completeness and compliance.
- Registrations & Certifications: Assist with vendor registrations, certifications, and government documentation.
- Opportunity Identification: Help identify applicable statewide contracts and government purchasing opportunities.
- Team Training: Provide hands-on walkthroughs and training to our internal team.
- Tracking & Management: Assist with tracking deadlines, renewals, amendments, and contracting requirements.
- Process Development: Help KoreVia Solutions establish a repeatable internal process for future government contract submissions.
Qualifications
- Prior experience with California state government procurement, contracting, purchasing, or vendor management.
- Working knowledge of California DGS Procurement Division and/or Cal eProcure.
- Experience reviewing or responding to government solicitations.
- Strong understanding of government contracting documentation and compliance requirements.
- Excellent organizational and written communication skills.
- Ability to explain complex procurement requirements in a clear, practical manner.
- Comfortable working directly with company leadership on an as-needed basis.
Preferred Experience
Experience in one or more of the following is highly desirable:
- California statewide contracts
- DGS Procurement Division & Cal eProcure
- CMAS (California Multiple Award Schedules)
- Small Business (SB) / DVBE contracting
- Healthcare or medical staffing contracts
- Professional services contracts
- Federal government contracting (
