JOB OVERVIEW

Phanium LLC seeks an experienced Product Designer and Artist to create premium, bespoke artistic enclosures and branding for our Zero-Exposure Architecture (ZEA) encrypted USB flash drives and external SSD hard drives. You will design luxury, visually distinctive hardware products targeting executive, VIP, and enterprise clientele in the United States market. This is a remote position based in the Philippines with flexible working hours accommodating US business schedules.

Responsibilities: Develop innovative 2D and 3D design concepts for USB drive housings and SSD external enclosures; create premium graphic designs incorporating company branding, logos, and artistic elements; design luxury jewelry-quality finishes and material specifications; produce CAD-ready technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing partners; collaborate with product engineers to ensure designs meet manufacturing feasibility and durability standards; integrate AI design tools for rapid prototyping and iteration; validate designs through 3D rendering and visualization; manage design-to-production transitions with overseas manufacturing partners.

Required Experience:

2+ years in product design, industrial design, or luxury goods design
Expertise in 2D and 3D design (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, or equivalent)
Proven experience with graphic design and visual branding
Portfolio demonstrating jewelry, luxury accessories, or premium IT product design
Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, AutoCAD, or similar)
Experience with AI design tools (Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, or generative design platforms)
Strong understanding of design for manufacturability (DFM)
Ability to create production-ready technical specifications
Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
Experience working remotely with international teams
Preferred Qualifications:

Background in luxury brand design or high-end consumer electronics
Experience designing security or technology products
Knowledge of material science and premium finishes (anodized aluminum, premium plastics, leather, metal plating)
Experience with 3D printing and prototype validation
Portfolio including jewelry or precious goods design
Web programming experience (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, or similar – highly preferred) – Ability to create interactive design presentations, product configurators, or web-based design tools
Full-stack web development capabilities – Candidates with web design and development skills will be prioritized for enhanced compensation and leadership opportunities
