POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced U.S. Business Credit & Funding Specialist to assist management with developing legitimate business-credit profiles, researching financing opportunities, preparing financing documentation and maintaining funding readiness for U.S. businesses.
This is not a consumer credit-repair position. We want someone who understands legitimate U.S. business credit, commercial lending and underwriting.
Experience with trucking, transportation, equipment financing or commercial vehicle financing is highly desirable.
Location: Philippines - Remote
Employment: Full-time preferred
Compensation: $900 - $1,300 per month, depending on experience and demonstrated skill.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review and monitor business credit profiles.
- Research commercial financing opportunities.
- Help maintain accurate and strong business-credit profiles.
- Monitor D&B, Experian Business and Equifax Business information when applicable.
- Research business credit cards and commercial lines of credit.
- Assist with equipment and commercial vehicle financing.
- Organize lender-required documentation.
- Maintain a funding/application pipeline.
- Track applications, approvals, inquiries and lender requirements.
- Research lender underwriting criteria.
- Evaluate whether companies are funding-ready before applications are submitted.
- Assist with SBA/commercial lending documentation when appropriate.
- Review UCC filing information when relevant.
- Maintain accurate spreadsheets and CRM records.
- Coordinate with accounting staff to ensure financial documentation is lender-ready.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with U.S. business credit, commercial lending, business funding, loan processing, underwriting support or a closely related field.
- Understanding of U.S. business credit reports.
- Understanding of commercial lending and lender qualification criteria.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.
- Excellent English communication.
- High ethical standards.
- Ability to handle confidential financial information appropriately.
PREFERRED
- Equipment-finance experience.
- Commercial vehicle or trucking-finance experience.
- SBA loan preparation experience.
- Business LOC and business credit-card experience.
- Experience with D&B, Experian Business and Equifax Business.
- Experience working with U.S. lenders or financing companies.
COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS
We are interested only in legitimate business-credit and funding practices.
Candidates must not use or recommend:
- CPNs or synthetic identities.
- False financial information.
- False revenue or income representations.
- Fraudulent documentation.
- Misleading lender applications.
- Unauthorized credit applications.
- Any strategy intended to deceive lenders or credit bureaus.
The specialist may research opportunities and prepare applications, but management retains final authorization before any credit or financing application is submitted.
