Insurance Claims Specialist (Personal Injury Law Firm)

$5.00/hour + Performance Bonus

Full-Time | Remote

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Pacific Time

About the Role:
Dubin Law Group is seeking an Insurance Claims Specialist to support our Case Management team by handling insurance claims, policy verification, and insurance-related case setup for personal injury matters.

This role is heavily focused on communicating with insurance carriers, obtaining policy information, verifying coverage, requesting documentation, and ensuring cases are set up accurately from the beginning.

The ideal candidate has experience working with insurance claims, personal injury cases, legal support, or insurance verification and is comfortable communicating professionally with insurance representatives.

Responsibilities:
•Establish and manage first-party and third-party insurance claims
•Prepare and send Letters of Representation (LORs) to insurance carriers
•Prepare insurance correspondence, disclosure requests, public records requests, and spoliation letters
•Verify insurance coverage, including declarations pages, certified policies, PIP, UIM, and liability coverage
•Obtain and track police reports, property damage documentation, and insurance records
•Follow up with insurance carriers regarding outstanding requests and claim information
•Review insurance correspondence and documentation for accuracy
•Maintain organized and accurate case records within Filevine
•Communicate insurance updates to Case Managers and attorneys
•Monitor assigned tasks and ensure timely completion of insurance-related requests

Qualifications:
•Experience in insurance, claims administration, personal injury law, legal support, or policy verification
•Strong understanding of insurance claims and coverage verification
•Excellent organizational and time-management skills
•Strong attention to detail and accuracy
•Professional written and verbal English communication skills
•Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
•Ability to work independently in a remote environment
•Comfortable communicating with insurance adjusters and outside organizations

Preferred Qualifications:
•Personal injury law firm experience
•Experience with Filevine or similar case management software
•Experience handling PIP, UIM, liability claims, or policy verification
•Experience preparing Letters of Representation and insurance correspondence
•Requirements

•Personal computer capable of handling multiple browser tabs and cloud-based software
