Full-Time Social Media Video Editor for Lifestyle / Family Creator

I’m looking for a talented, creative, and FAST full-time video editor to join my content team long-term.

I’m a U.S.-based lifestyle creator producing content around fatherhood, family, fitness, relationships, travel, adventure, products and everyday life.

I create content for Instagram, TikTok and brand partnerships.

I’m NOT looking for someone who simply waits for instructions and edits exactly what they’re given.

I’m looking for someone who can watch my footage and think:

“There are 5 different videos we can make from this.”

What You’ll Edit

You’ll work on:

* Instagram Reels
* TikToks
* Lifestyle/family content
* Talking-head videos
* Trend-based content
* UGC/product videos
* Sponsored brand campaigns
* Voiceover + B-roll videos
* Travel/adventure content
* Fitness content
* Short storytelling videos

Most videos will be 15–90 seconds.

What I’m Looking For

You should understand modern short-form content extremely well.

You need to understand:

* Strong hooks
* Retention
* Pacing
* Storytelling
* Captions/text
* Music selection
* Sound effects
* Pattern interrupts
* B-roll
* Comedy timing
* Emotional storytelling
* Current Instagram/TikTok editing styles

Most importantly, I want someone who thinks creatively without needing constant direction.

If I send you 20 minutes of footage, I want you looking for multiple pieces of content inside it.

Expected Monthly Output

The exact mix will change month to month, but a normal month could include:

* 20–30 organic social videos
* 10–15 trend/quick-turn videos
* UGC/product edits and hook variations
* 4–8 sponsored brand edits
* Alternate hooks/cuts when useful
* Repurposed content from existing footage

Some videos may take 15 minutes to edit. Others may take several hours.

We’re focused on quality + output, not hitting an arbitrary number.

Workflow

I film.

You turn the footage into content.

You’ll receive organized footage, voiceovers, brand briefs and ideas.

Over time, I want you to learn my style well enough that I need to give you LESS direction, not more.

You’ll also help maintain a content bank and identify unused footage that can become future posts.

Schedule

Full-time remote position.

You can work from the Philippines.

I don’t need you working U.S. hours all day, but I do need reliable communication and some overlap when necessary for brand deadlines.

Compensation

Starting compensation based on experience and editing ability.

Approximately $400-$500 USD/month, with opportunities for increases and bonuses based on performance.

I’m looking for someone long-term.
