Approximately 20 hours per week could increase to more hours as needed
Additional performance bonuses may be available based on qualified appointments and results.
About the Role
We are a growing U.S.-based managed IT services company seeking an experienced part-time B2B Appointment Setter / Sales Development Representative.
This is an outbound sales position. Your primary responsibility will be making consistent outbound calls, reaching business owners and decision-makers, qualifying potential opportunities, and scheduling appointments for the business owner.
We are specifically looking for someone who is comfortable spending the majority of their working hours actively prospecting and making calls.
Experience calling for an IT services provider, managed service provider, cybersecurity company, SaaS company, telecommunications provider, or another technical B2B organization is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
Make consistent outbound B2B cold calls during scheduled working hours
Contact business owners, office managers, executives, and other decision-makers
Research prospects as needed before or between calls
Build and maintain accurate prospect lists
Qualify businesses based on company size, current IT situation, needs, pain points, and decision-making authority
Schedule qualified appointments for the business owner
Schedule potential phone, virtual, or on-site meetings
Follow up with prospects by phone,
Clearly communicate the value of managed IT services, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365, technology support, and related business services
Maintain accurate notes and opportunity statuses inside the CRM
Complete scheduled follow-up activities
Attend scheduled sales meetings, coaching sessions, and call reviews
Learn the company’s services and continuously improve scripts, objection handling, and conversations
Daily Activity Expectations
This is an activity-driven sales position.
During scheduled working hours, we expect:
Consistent outbound calling throughout the shift
Minimal unexplained gaps between prospecting activities
Prospect research to be completed efficiently and without unnecessarily interrupting calling activity
CRM records and notes to be updated throughout the day
Follow-up calls and tasks to be completed when scheduled
Immediate communication if a technical problem, lead issue, unclear instruction, or other obstacle is preventing you from making calls
Questions to be asked when you are unsure rather than allowing extended periods of inactivity
Active participation in coaching and implementation of feedback
We understand that learning a new company and industry takes time. Training, research, and preparation will be provided and are expected. However, this position requires someone who can learn while maintaining consistent prospecting activity.
Extended periods without calls or prospecting activity during scheduled working hours are not acceptable unless previously discussed.

Work Schedule
Approximately 20 hours per week.
Working hours must overlap with normal U.S. Central Time business hours because you will primarily be contacting U.S.-based businesses.
The final schedule will be agreed upon before starting.
Reliability during scheduled working hours is extremely important.
