Amazon Marketing Specialist — New ASIN Launches, A+ Content, PPC
Alpine Provisions ·
PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE JOB DESCRIPTION BEFORE APPLYING. There are specific application instructions inside. Applications that ignore them will not be reviewed. We are not trying to be difficult — we just want to work with people who read carefully, because this job requires it.
About us
Alpine Provisions is a premium men's personal care brand — body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and hand soap — built around mountain-derived botanicals and sophisticated fragrance. Cedar and sandalwood. Fir and sage. Rosemary and mint.
Amazon is our primary revenue channel. We also sell direct through Shopify.
Our founder spent 25 years in natural personal care before starting this brand, and the line relaunching this fall is the culmination of that work: new formulations, new fragrances, new packaging, and a rebuilt brand identity. We have roughly ten SKUs today across four body wash scents, three shampoos, three conditioners, plus a new exfoliating hand soap.
We are a small team on purpose — a founder, a GM, and a bench of specialist contractors. That means you will have real ownership from week one, and nobody will be micromanaging you.
The role
You own Amazon. Not "help with Amazon" — own it.
Right now our listings underperform what the products deserve. Some are undercooked. One has 252 ratings sitting under 4.0 stars and needs a real diagnosis, not guesses. We have new SKUs launching in October with a complete packaging change, which means new imagery, new copy, and new ASINs that have to come out of the gate strong rather than dying in cold-start.
That is the job. Fix what exists, launch what's coming, and run the ad account that supports both.
What you'll own
New ASIN launches
Build listings from scratch: title, bullets, backend search terms, browse node
Keyword research and competitive analysis before anything gets written
Launch strategy for cold-start ASINs — early review velocity, pricing, promotions
Variation family structure across scents and sizes so we don't fragment our review counts
Coordinate with our creative team on imagery requirements and flag what's missing
A+ content and listing optimization
Design and build A+ / Premium A+ modules that actually convert, not just fill space
Brand Story modules and Storefront build-out
Rewrite and test existing listings — copy, imagery, and structure
Diagnose underperforming SKUs: is it the main image, the price, the reviews, the traffic, or the product?
Maintain listing health and catch suppressions or content overwrites before they cost us a week
PPC
Full management of Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display
Campaign structure, negative keyword management, bid strategy, dayparting
Manage to a target ACoS and TACoS we agree on together, and tell us when the target is wrong
Search term report analysis on a weekly cadence
Coupons, Deals, Subscribe & Save, and Vine where they make sense
Catalog and account operations
Brand Registry, brand protection, unauthorized seller monitoring
Inventory forecasting inputs so we don't stock out on a growing SKU
Case management with Seller Support when things break
Review monitoring and flagging product issues back to the team
Reporting
Weekly: spend, ACoS, TACoS, sessions, conversion rate, organic rank movement on target keywords
Monthly: performance by SKU, what you changed, what it did, what you're testing next
We do not want a data dump. We want your read on what the numbers mean and what you plan to do about it.
Who we're looking for
Three or more years running Amazon Seller Central for real brands. Not a VA who has done some Amazon tasks. Someone who has launched ASINs and grown them.
Demonstrable PPC results. You should be able to talk about an account you took from a bad ACoS to a good one and explain exactly how.
A+ content you've actually built, not just briefed someone else to build.
Strong written English. You'll be writing listing copy that has to sound like a premium American brand, not a translation.
Comfortable with AI tools. We use them heavily for research, drafting, and analysis. Not as a replacement for your judgment — as a multiplier on it.
You tell us when we're wrong. The founder has strong opinions. He'd rather be argued with than agreed with by someone who knows better.
Nice to have: experience in personal care, beauty, or CPG. Helium 10 or Jungle Scout fluency. Experience with Amazon Attribution and external traffic. Experience with Brand Referral Bonus. Design skills for A+ modules.
How we work
Fully remote and mostly async. We ask for two to three hours of overlap with US Mountain Time so we can talk when something needs talking through, but we are not counting your hours. We care what moves.
You'll report to the GM and work directly with the founder. You'll also coordinate with our creative contractors for imagery and video, and with our Meta media team, since we run external traffic to Amazon and want the Attribution tagging done properly.
A note on how to apply: we get a lot of applications from people who mass-send the same message to fifty postings. So — put "Elevate Amazon" in your subject line. That tells us you read this far. Along with your application, send us three Amazon listings you currently manage, and point us to A+ content you personally created on those pages. We will look at them closely. Three real listings you can speak to in detail beats a long resume.
If you don't include the subject line and the three listings, we won't review the application. That's not a bluff.
Compensation
Monthly salary, paid on a schedule we'll agree on, plus a performance bonus tied to Amazon revenue growth. We'll discuss specific numbers with candidates who make it to a conversation — we'd rather pay well for someone excellent than run a race to the bottom.
Long-term role. We're building a team, not filling a gap.
To apply
Send your application with a short note about the Amazon accounts you've run and what you did with them. Skip the generic cover letter. Tell us about one listing you turned around and what specifically caused the turnaround.
We review applications weekly and respond to everyone who follows the instructions above.
