ABOUT PRESENT WONDERS
Present Wonders creates playful, guided painting experiences for private groups, families, celebrations, retreats, and workplace teams.
It is not an art class. People come to have fun, connect, loosen up, and discover that they are more creative than they thought.
We are based in Santa Monica, California. Our immediate goal is to use Pinterest to attract people searching for memorable group experiences, including:
• Bridal and bachelorette activities
• Adult birthday experiences
• Family activity nights
• Creative team-building workshops
• Retreat and wellness activities
• Unique things to do in Los Angeles
THE ROLE
I am looking for someone who has already grown Pinterest accounts—not someone hoping to learn Pinterest while working for me.
You will help build the Pinterest channel from the ground up:
• Research how our audiences search on Pinterest
• Identify keywords, content themes, and seasonal opportunities
• Recommend the audiences we should prioritize first
• Create a clear board structure
• Turn existing workshop photos, videos, testimonials, and ideas into pins
• Design high-quality static, carousel, and video pins
• Write Pinterest titles and descriptions based on search intent
• Schedule and publish content consistently
• Connect pins to the correct website or booking pages
• Track impressions, saves, outbound clicks, inquiries, and bookings
• Review the data and explain what should change
• Maintain an organized content calendar and asset library
THIS IS NOT THE RIGHT ROLE IF
• Your experience is mainly posting on Instagram or
• You describe Pinterest as a social media platform but cannot explain its search behavior
• Your portfolio consists only of Canva samples
• You cannot show results from accounts you personally managed
• You need detailed instructions for every task
• You apply to jobs without carefully reading the requirements
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
• At least two years of hands-on Pinterest account management
• Strong knowledge of Pinterest keyword research and SEO
• Experience creating pins that generate outbound clicks—not only impressions
• Strong Canva design skills and good visual judgment
• Clear written English
• Experience reviewing Pinterest Analytics and making decisions from the data
• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly
Experience with local businesses, workshops, events, travel, weddings, family activities, wellness, or experience-based businesses is strongly preferred.
HOW TO APPLY
Use the subject line:
PRESENT WONDERS — [Your First Name] — PINTEREST
Begin your application with this sentence:
“People are not coming to Present Wonders to become better painters.”
Then provide all of the following:
1. Links to two Pinterest business accounts you personally managed.
2. For each account, explain:
• What the business sells
• The dates you managed the account
• Exactly what work you performed
• What changed during your involvement
• The starting and ending monthly impressions
• The starting and ending monthly outbound clicks
• Whether Pinterest generated leads, sales, or bookings
3. Include redacted screenshots from Pinterest Analytics supporting those results. The screenshots should show the account, date range, and relevant metrics.
4. Link to five pins you personally created. Explain which one performed best and why you believe it worked.
5. Record a two- to three-minute Loom video answering:
• Which Present Wonders audience would you target first on Pinterest?
• What would that person search for?
• What would you want to examine before building the account?
You may review our website before answering:
6. Tell me:
• Your expected hourly rate in USD
• Your weekly availability
• Your current number of clients
• Whether you personally perform the work
• Which tools you use for research, design, scheduling, and reporting
Do not create free sample pins or send a full strategy. Shortlisted candidates will be offered a small paid test project.
Applications missing any requested item will not be considered.
HIRING PROCESS
1. Application and portfolio review
2. Short video interview
3. Paid Pinterest audit and sample assignment
4. Initial 30-day engagement
5. Ongoing part-time position if the work is a strong match
This role begins at approximately 8–12 hours per week, with room to grow. Please include your rate. I am more interested in demonstrated ability than the lowest price.
