About the Role:
We are looking for an **experienced Property Manager with hands-on experience managing properties in New York City. This role requires someone who understands **NYC property management processes, tenant relations, lease administration, violations, and local compliance requirements.
NYC property management experience is required. Candidates without direct experience managing New York City properties will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day property management activities for **New York City properties**.
- Handle **lease renewals**, extensions, and related tenant documentation.
- Communicate with tenants regarding leases, maintenance concerns, notices, and property-related issues.
- Monitor and follow up on **property violations, notices, and compliance matters**.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, building staff, and other relevant parties.
- Track and maintain accurate property, tenant, and lease records.
- Follow up on outstanding repairs, maintenance requests, and building issues.
- Assist with tenant move-ins, move-outs, and lease-related processes.
- Ensure required documentation and records are organized and up to date.
- Escalate complex legal, compliance, or property issues when necessary.
- Provide regular updates regarding property status, tenant concerns, violations, and pending actions.
Requirements:
- Proven Property Management experience specifically in New York City.
- Strong understanding of **NYC rental properties, leases, tenant management, and property-related violations**.
- Hands-on experience with **lease renewals and tenant communication**.
- Experience handling or coordinating **NYC property violations and compliance matters**.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple properties/tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
- Comfortable working during US Eastern Time (EST/EDT).
Important:
This position is specifically for a Property Manager with New York City experience. We are looking for someone who has actually managed or supported NYC properties, not just general property management experience.
