The Recruiter is a part-time, hourly role and is responsible for maintaining our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), screening and managing candidates, and facilitating the new hire process. They will identify opportunities to build applicant pools, establish trust and partnerships with the hiring managers, validate credentials, and ensure a positive new hire experience.
All activities must be compliant with US Equal Employment Opportunity laws, HIPAA, and other regulations, as appropriate and as directed by appropriate chain of command.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Two years of combined human resources, talent acquisition, or recruiting experience required, preferably in Healthcare
Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (i.e. Clear Company, etc.)
Required Skills and Competencies:
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
Demonstrated knowledge of various recruiting techniques and experience in online/social media recruiting
Communicating effectively through both spoken and written media is essential
English fluency – written and spoken
Strong work ethic and sense of integrity, trustworthiness, and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Ability to draft compelling job posts, engage the target talent audience via social media, and correspond with candidates and hiring managers through multiple channels
Strong customer service skills and ability to interact with employees at all levels throughout the company
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), internet, and Applicant Tracking Systems
Strong planning and problem-solving skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Consult with the human resources team on position descriptions, requisition creation, and sourcing strategies
Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
Continuously develop networks/partnerships to actively build a database/pipeline of candidates and the company brand
Arrange pre-employment testing, background & references screenings. Evaluation and input of our current vendors
Place and update all job postings in various media, including internet/intranet sites, colleges, social networks, community boards, and staffing partners
Maintain applicant tracking system, recruiting reports, and other staffing administration functions as needed
Respond timely to internal and external applicant situations, and applicant requests as required
Position may require work responsibilities outside of normal business hours

Supervision: Reports to Business and Talent Partner (in Central Time zone)
Work Environment:
The Recruiter is a remote position. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, phones, and photocopiers/scanners.
This is an hourly position.
