JOB OVERVIEW

Everglow Miami is looking for a full-time remote video editor to own our short-form content pipeline for Instagram and Facebook. You'll be turning raw in-office footage — talking-head clips, treatment b-roll, client transformations, and trend-based content — into scroll-stopping Reels that drive real consultation bookings.

This isn't a "cut it down and add captions" role. We want an editor who understands why a video holds attention: hook structure, pacing, retention curves, text placement, and what's currently working on the platform. If you watch a Reel and instinctively know why the first 1.5 seconds worked, you're who we're looking for.

What You'll Do
Edit 15–60+ second vertical videos for Instagram Reels and Facebook
Build motion graphics, animated text, transitions, and VFX in After Effects
Design hooks and opening frames that stop the scroll
Add captions, sound design, music syncing, and on-brand graphic overlays
Adapt trending formats, audio, and editing styles to our niche
Manage assets, versioning, and delivery on a consistent daily/weekly schedule
Communicate daily with our team during EST business hours and turn around revisions quickly
Requirements
After Effects experience is a must — this is non-negotiable
Proficiency in a primary editing NLE (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut Pro)
Demonstrated experience editing short-form social content with a portfolio to back it up
Strong grasp of Instagram/Facebook best practices: aspect ratios, safe zones, caption styling, hook writing, retention pacing
Reliable high-speed internet and a machine that can handle AE renders without becoming a bottleneck

Nice to Have
Experience in the med spa, aesthetics, healthcare, fitness, or wellness space
Before/after content editing experience
Photoshop or Illustrator for static assets and thumbnails
Basic copywriting for on-screen text and captions
