We’re looking for an experienced Accounting Specialist with strong QuickBooks and U.S. accounting experience to join our team!

?? IMPORTANT: This position is ONLY for candidates with hands-on experience working with U.S.-based clients or U.S. companies. Candidates with local Philippine accounting experience only will not be considered.

???? Job Summary
The Accounting Specialist will manage day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure timely completion of financial reports and reconciliations. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of U.S. accounting practices and experience supporting U.S.-based businesses.
???? Key Responsibilities

- Record daily income and expenses accurately
- Maintain complete and accurate financial records
- Process invoices, receipts, and other financial documents
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
- Monitor daily financial transactions, billing, and payments
- Prepare monthly financial reports and account reconciliations
- Maintain tax-related records and supporting documentation
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
- Identify discrepancies and resolve financial issues promptly
- Ensure accounting records are accurate, organized, and up to date
- Ensure compliance with U.S. accounting standards and company policies

???? Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Required:

- Proven experience working directly with U.S.-based clients or U.S. companies
- Strong understanding of U.S. accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks; experience with Xero, NetSuite, or similar platforms is a plus
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong English communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet deadlines
