Requirements:
1. Must be able to work in sydney time zone.
2. Agency experience – we're looking for candidates who have worked in an agency environment, supporting multiple clients, with at least 12 months of agency experience.
3. Freelancing experience – we'd also like to see candidates with a minimum of 12 months of freelancing experience.

Role Overview

Delegated AI is looking for a highly skilled and proactive AI Automation Engineer to help build, manage, and improve automation systems across different business processes. This role is ideal for someone who has strong technical and systems-thinking skills, hands-on experience with AI tools, and the ability to create efficient workflows using platforms like n8n, Make, Airtable, Supabase, Claude Code, and other modern automation tools.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working independently, understanding business needs, implementing scalable automation processes, and taking ownership of tasks from planning to execution.

##Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain AI-powered automation workflows using tools such as n8n, Make, Airtable, Supabase, Claude Code, and other modern platforms.
Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and efficiency improvements.
Implement end-to-end automation systems for lead management, operations, reporting, client communication, data handling, and internal workflows.
Integrate multiple software platforms, APIs, databases, CRMs, and AI tools to create smooth and reliable systems.
Build AI-assisted workflows that improve productivity, reduce manual tasks, and support business growth.
Troubleshoot, test, and refine automation workflows to ensure accuracy, reliability, and scalability.
Document systems, processes, and automation logic clearly for internal teams and future maintenance.
Communicate effectively with team members to understand requirements, provide updates, and recommend technical solutions.
Stay updated with the latest AI, automation, and no-code/low-code tools to continuously improve workflows.
Take full ownership of assigned automation projects and complete tasks with minimal supervision.

##Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong technical background with excellent systems-thinking and problem-solving skills.
Hands-on experience with automation tools such as n8n, Make, Zapier, or similar platforms.
Experience working with tools such as Airtable, Supabase, databases, APIs, and workflow management platforms.
Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, and other current AI productivity or development tools.
Ability to design, implement, and optimize business process automations from scratch.
Good understanding of integrations, webhooks, API connections, databases, and data flow between systems.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and take ownership of assigned tasks.
Availability to start as soon as possible and work during US time zones.

##Preferred Skills (Optional)
Experience building AI agents, internal tools, dashboards, or custom workflow systems.
Familiarity with CRM, marketing automation, lead generation, or client operations workflows.
Basic coding or scripting knowledge in JavaScript, Python, SQL, or similar languages.
Experience with project management tools and technical documentation.
Ability to recommend new tools and automation strategies based on business needs.
