JOB OVERVIEW

KamJam Media is a growing YouTube content agency that helps coaches, consultants, agencies, and expert service businesses create educational YouTube content that builds trust, attracts the right audience, and helps generate potential clients.

We are looking for a talented **YouTube Script Writer with experience or strong knowledge of Amazon FBA and e-commerce** who wants a stable, long-term position and the opportunity to grow with the company.

As the company grows, there will be opportunities for raises, increased responsibility, and potentially moving into a Senior Writer, Content Strategist, or Content Manager position.

## About the Role

Your main responsibility will be researching and writing long-form YouTube scripts for our clients.

A large portion of the content will be related to **Amazon selling, Amazon FBA, e-commerce, product research, product launches, branding, sourcing, marketing, and growing an Amazon business.**

Because of this, you need to already understand the basics of how Amazon businesses work.

We are not looking for someone who needs to learn what Amazon FBA is after being hired.

You do not necessarily need to have owned your own Amazon business, but you should be comfortable with Amazon terminology, business models, and the challenges Amazon sellers face.

You will also write content related to business, marketing, entrepreneurship, and other educational topics.

We are not looking for someone who simply uses ChatGPT to generate a generic script.

You should be able to take a topic, client information, research, and strategic direction and turn it into a clear, interesting YouTube video that sounds natural when spoken.

The scripts should feel like they were written by the person speaking, not like an article, school essay, or AI-generated script.

## Responsibilities

* Research Amazon FBA and e-commerce topics.
* Research YouTube video topics.
* Research competitors and relevant YouTube videos.
* Write long-form educational YouTube scripts.
* Create strong hooks and introductions that make viewers want to continue watching.
* Organize ideas in a clear and logical way.
* Keep scripts interesting without unnecessary clickbait.
* Explain complicated Amazon or business concepts in simple English.
* Write scripts that sound natural when spoken out loud.
* Match the tone, personality, and speaking style of different clients.
* Use client documents, videos, interviews, and other information to understand their experience and expertise.
* Rewrite and improve scripts based on feedback.
* Fact-check important claims.
* Help develop video ideas and angles when needed.
* Meet deadlines consistently.
* Communicate clearly when you need additional information.

## Amazon Knowledge Required

You should already understand many of the following:

* Amazon FBA
* Amazon Seller Central
* Product research
* Finding and validating product opportunities
* Private label products
* Product sourcing
* Alibaba and working with manufacturers
* MOQ
* Samples and product development
* Amazon listings
* Keywords and listing optimization
* Amazon PPC
* Product launches
* Reviews and rankings
* Inventory management
* Amazon fees
* Profit margins
* Brand Registry
* UPC / GTIN / FNSKU basics
* Shipping inventory to Amazon
* Amazon marketplaces
* Common problems Amazon sellers experience

You do not need to be an expert in every area.

However, you should understand the Amazon FBA business model well enough that you can research a topic and write intelligently about it without needing every basic concept explained to you.

## Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

* Has strong knowledge of Amazon FBA and e-commerce.
* Has excellent written English.
* Has experience writing YouTube scripts or long-form online content.
* Understands how to keep viewers interested throughout a YouTube video.
* Can research unfamiliar topics independently.
* Can separate good information from inaccurate or outdated information.
* Can understand a business, offer, and target audience before writing.
* Can write conversationally instead of sounding formal or robotic.
* Can adapt their writing style to different people and brands.
* Is detail-oriented and organized.
* Can follow instructions and writing guidelines carefully.
* Is comfortable receiving feedback and making revisions.
* Is dependable and consistently meets deadlines.
* Is a self-starter who does not need constant supervision.
* Is interested in learning more about YouTube, Amazon, e-commerce, marketing, and business.

Previous experience working for an **Amazon seller, Amazon agency, Amazon coach, e-commerce company, or Amazon-related YouTube channel** is a major advantage.

## Important

Using AI tools such as ChatGPT for research, brainstorming, outlining, or improving your work is completely fine.

However, we are **not looking for someone who copies a prompt into AI and submits the result.**

You must be able to think critically, research, fact-check, improve ideas, and make the final script sound natural and specific to the client.

This is especially important with Amazon content because rules, strategies, fees, and platform features can change.

Strong research and writing judgment are more important than simply producing words quickly.

## Position Details

* Employment Type: Full-time
* Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week
* Location: Remote
* Long-term position
* Opportunities for raises and promotions based on performance
* Exact schedule and compensation will be discussed during the interview

Performance will be evaluated based on:

* Quality of writing
* Understanding of Amazon and e-commerce
* Ability to match the client's voice
* Research quality
* Ability to follow directions
* Speed and efficiency
* Communication
* Reliability
* Ability to improve based on feedback

## How to Apply

Please include the following with your application:

1. A short introduction about yourself and your writing experience.
2. A link to your portfolio or writing samples.
3. Two or three examples of YouTube scripts you have written.
4. Any Amazon, e-commerce, business, or marketing content you have written.
5. Describe your experience with Amazon FBA.
6. Have you ever worked for an Amazon seller, Amazon agency, e-commerce business, or Amazon-related creator? If yes, explain what you did.
7. Tell us whether you currently use AI tools such as ChatGPT in your writing process and how you use them.
8. How long does it normally take you to research and write a 10–15 minute YouTube script (4-6 pages)?
9. What is your expected monthly salary for a full-time position?
10. Why are you interested in working with a growing company long term?

### Please answer these two questions in your application:

**1. What makes a YouTube script different from a blog article?**

**2. In simple terms, explain the difference between an Amazon FBA private-label seller and an Amazon reseller.**

Applications that do not answer both questions may not be considered.

Selected candidates may be asked to complete a short **paid writing test** before receiving a final offer.
