We need a sharp, organised VA to handle sourcing, purchasing and travel logistics for a UK-based luxury events business. You'll be tracking down suppliers, placing orders, chasing deliveries, and booking flights, hotels and transfers, often against tight deadlines.
Hours: 8am-4pm UK time, with some flexibility around start/end times. This falls in the evening through to around midnight Philippines time, please only apply if you can sustain these hours reliably.
Must-haves:
- Available on WhatsApp during the stated hours
- Excellent written English
- Comfortable researching and comparing suppliers, prices and specs
- Experience booking travel (flights, accommodation, ground transport)
- Basic Canva skills, able to pull sourced product images together into a simple visual moodboard or options sheet
- Comfortable working in Google Sheets
- Fast, reliable, doesn't need hand-holding once briefed
- Reliable internet connection
Nice to have: experience with events, luxury retail, or procurement.
Rate reviewed after 30 days based on performance.
Before you apply, complete this task and send it with your application.
Put the word RABBIT in the subject line of your application, applications without it won't be opened.
Pick ONE of the three scenarios below, whichever suits your background best:
Scenario A, event decor
Source three suppliers for 100 white pillar candles (30cm), UK delivery. Give price, MOQ and lead time for each.
Scenario B, travel
Find (don't purchase) a one-night hotel stay in Paris for three rooms - 2 singles and 1 twin, mid-range/boutique, under £200/night each, available next month. Give hotel name, price and booking site, plus one alternative option.
Scenario C, co
Source three suppliers for 20 metres of blue silk chiffon fabric, Chinese supplier. Give price per metre, MOQ, link to see and *guaranteed* lead time for each.
Then, whichever scenario you picked:
Put your three sourcing options into a simple Canva moodboard or side-by-side visual.
Log all three in a Google Sheet with columns for supplier, price, MOQ, lead time and anything else you think relevant. Share both.
In two sentences, tell me how you'd handle it if a supplier confirmed stock and then cancelled two days before an event.
Applications without the subject line word, or without the task completed, won't be reviewed.
