F8 is technology consulting firm looking for a Senior Team Lead Microsoft Specialist with a positive attitude to our Networking Team to support clients. The ideal candidate will have superior customer service skills, strong desktop support skills, basic understanding of networking concepts, and a passion for using computing devices and automation to help our clients succeed in their missions and is ready to level up with increased exposure to more complex tasks.
WHAT YOU WOULD DO
- Serve as the primary Tier 3 escalation point for Tier 1 and Tier 2 engineers, providing technical leadership and mentorship. Actively monitor Microsoft Teams channels, support queues, and escalations to assist the team, remove blockers, and support high-priority client issues. Lead advanced troubleshooting across Microsoft 365, cloud, endpoint, server, networking, and security platforms.
- Administer and maintain Microsoft 365 environments, including Entra ID, Intune, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Teams, Defender, Purview, and Lightpath. Manage identity and access management (IAM), including user lifecycle management, RBAC, Conditional Access, MFA, security groups, permissions, and device compliance.
- Configure and maintain Microsoft security and compliance solutions, including Defender, Purview, DLP, retention policies, sensitivity labels, and security baselines.
- Performance optimization by analyzing network performance metrics and implementing solutions to enhance speed, reliability, and scalability. Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring or major network i
- Work directly with the CTO on strategic initiatives, automation, operational improvements, and client modernization projects.
- Assist with client onboarding, migrations, project delivery, and implementation of best practices.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, standards, and knowledge base articles.
- Participate in on-call rotations for critical client issues.
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and willingness to do whatever is needed to support clients and teammates.
- 5+ years of hands-on MSP experience supporting multiple client environments.
- 5+ years administering Microsoft 365, including Entra ID, Intune, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Teams, Defender, and Purview.
- Strong experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM), Conditional Access, MFA, RBAC, device compliance, and Microsoft security best practices.
- Experience configuring and supporting Microsoft Defender, Purview, DLP, retention policies, sensitivity labels, and security controls.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, Windows Server, networking, and cloud technologies.
- Proven ability to lead by example, remain engaged in team communications, and assist engineers during high-volume support periods.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred:
- MS-102, SC-400, SC-300, MD-102, or equivalent Microsoft certifications.
- PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot deployments and governance.
