JOB OVERVIEW

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Data Cleanup & ConnectBooks Specialist to support a critical inventory management project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning up inventory records across multiple accounts, updating product SKUs, and ensuring data accuracy within the ConnectBooks platform. This role begins as a project-based assignment with the opportunity to transition into ongoing monthly work.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform inventory data cleanup for five (5) customer accounts using ConnectBooks.
- Remove outdated SKUs and replace them with updated product SKUs.
- Maintain accurate inventory records for a business with a large and diverse product catalog.
- Verify data accuracy and consistency throughout the cleanup process.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory information.
- Work efficiently to meet project deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Provide updates on project progress and communicate any issues requiring attention.

Required Qualifications

- Experience with inventory management or data entry is preferred.
- Familiarity with ConnectBooks is a strong advantage; similar inventory or accounting software experience will also be considered.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Work Details

- Initial Assignment: Project-based inventory cleanup for five accounts.
- Future Opportunity: Upon successful completion of the cleanup project, the position transitions into an ongoing role with a guaranteed monthly hourly allocation.
- Additional Work: Most months are expected to include additional hours beyond the guaranteed allocation.
