Administrative Coordinator / Operations Assistant (Health & Human Services)
We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Administrative Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of our health and human services organization.
Responsibilities:
Ensure all required documentation, schedules, reports, and forms are completed accurately and submitted to DDS and other agencies as requested.
Maintain daily communication with leadership, staff, families, and external partners.
Coordinate with staffing agencies to secure coverage and fill open shifts as needed.
Organize and maintain electronic and physical records to ensure compliance and audit readiness.
Monitor deadlines and follow up on outstanding documentation.
Support daily business operations and help ensure services run smoothly and efficiently.
Required Skills:
Strong business communication skills, both written and verbal.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, and PowerPoint).
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience maintaining confidential records and handling sensitive information professionally.
Knowledge of compliance requirements within health and human services settings is preferred.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in the developmental disabilities, healthcare, or social services field.
Experience using Therap or similar documentation systems is a bonus but not required.
Familiarity with staffing coordination and workforce scheduling is highly desirable.
